Smashing BIN: Ten Years with the 24KT Gold Manning with Kevin (@dacaptain37)

Alright. We're back with another episode of Smashing Ben with my good friend, Kevin, the captain, 37. Wanted to have him on this week because it's the week of the national.

This episode is dropping while many of us are traveling to the national or you're already there. And we're gonna talk a little bit about the national and, obviously, a a cool card of Kevin's while we do it.

Kevin, happy national week. How how's it going? Have you are you maintaining your sanity in the kind of the buildup to making this happen? Yeah. It's been an abs the the week before the national is absolutely crazy.

Obviously, I'm putting out a bunch of, social media content with my lives, all my inventory and stuff, doing all pricing. And then, you know, my son has summer basketball.

My son has travel baseball. I have varsity basketball work with us with my guys. So it's been this week has been crazy to say the least. We got a grad party Saturday, another party Sunday.

It's just like, alright. And then Monday, we're hitting the road. So it's crazy times, but definitely fun times. And, you know, I couldn't be more excited to be talking cards, before the national.

So pumped up for this episode. Maybe just, like, a little bit about the national. Like, this year, maybe going into it, I know you're a an a vet of the national.

What what are you maybe looking forward to the most? I know you'll be spending most of your time behind the table, to having conversations and and dealing cards, but, like, what's on your mind going into this year?

Yeah. I mean, first off, you know, there's hype around the national every year, but this one just feels crazy. Like, I I can't believe the amount of big, like, huge cards I've already moved, traded, sold going into the show.

But I do my live, the Sunday before the national. It'll already be over once this episode airs, but I'm gonna showcase some of the cards that I've moved, and I think it's gonna surprise people.

Some PC stuff, I didn't think I'd move, but sometimes you you get an offer that you just can't refuse.

You know, also used one particular PC card that I really did not think I would move in trade for, like, a top three grill card for me.

So, like like, I'm I'm thinking about this card, which I'm not gonna reveal right now. Right? But, like, I I would only move it for, like, these one one of three cards, and one of them popped up when the opportunity came.

So you know how it is. Right? It's a similar concept to smash it a bin. Right? Like, you got a chance to do it, go do it.

Right? So that came up. So, and then, you know, first of all, this is the this is the best venue for for the Nashville by far. I wish they would just have it in Chicago or in Rosebond every year.

The proximity to the airport if you're flying in, it's only ten minutes away. The hotel options on the strip with where the convention center is, the food. I mean, I'm looking forward to Carmine's, Italian Gibson steakhouse.

Right? And then, you know, for me, post show, like, the the when, you know, Joaquin and I and a couple buddies do our huge break that we're doing at the national yearly, that's definitely a highlight.

We we we had a big highlight on on a live a couple weeks ago pulling that Jordan and Grayson pulling the Jaden Daniels.

It was it was a fun fun night. Right? So we're hoping that's, like, foreshadowing to what's gonna happen, for for what we're breaking at the national.

So there's just, and then, you know, obviously, the people I mean, I you know, it sounds so cliche, but, like, you know, there's there's certain people that you talk to almost daily that you get to see once a year.

Right? And this is the time you get to see them.

Right? So, I talk to card people a lot more than my, you know, friends from that I that, you know, from everyday life. Right? So, just to, you know, talking about deals and cards pickups and things like that.

So, it's cool when you, you know, you you get a chance to see the people you talk to a lot via DM on Instagram or or via text, and, this is the the one time you get to see them right and hang out.

So, that definitely adds to the awesomeness of the national.

I wanna, don't get a chance to talk with a lot of people who do what you do full time, and I think you said something there that might be helpful for others as they head into the show.

I'm a big fan of these, like, conversations we have before the show. The you know who's gonna be there. You know what cards they have in trying to get deals done.

Maybe take us all in on the inside. You said something there where you've got these cards that are, like, PC cards. You don't need to talk about what the cards are or what the well, who what changed hands.

But what maybe talk about what the individuals who got cards out of your PC heading into the national did, and and and maybe some information there about those deals that made you, kinda move the needle.

I'm assuming they were strong offers, but I think this is a good topic that some people could probably benefit from heading into the show.

Well, actually, Ken mentioned the card. Right? Because this is airing post Yes. Yes. I guess. Yeah.

So, so, actually, I'll I'm gonna pull up the picture of my phone and go through a couple of them right now. But I there's gonna be a couple cards in here that, would definitely like top five PC cards for me in in the players category.

But I think some people I'm gonna get a ton of DMs like, watch. Oh my god. I can't believe you moved this. Why'd you move it right? So the first one, is my paid manning super fracture, PSA 10, the one I've had forever.

I crossed it to a PSA 10 at National last year. And, you know, I had a couple people who really made hard pushes for that card that I, you know, I almost felt bad telling them, hey.

It moved. But, you know, I I had a number that, you know, in mind, and I'm like, I don't even wanna move with that number. So I bumped that number up significantly. And this particular person said, I'm in. Right?

And and this, you know, it's like I would take it in in in trade for, this bigger card, which I'm you know, I I just I still can't believe I'm gonna be owning, this particular card, which I'm not gonna mention now because I wanna make sure the deal's not the deal's done, but, like, I have to see the card in person first.

You do deals this this size. Like, you wanna make see everything before you get everything done.

Right? I think that's gonna be a shock to people. But, you know, that card, like, I I've had it for so long. I know this particular, collector, you know, really, really wanted it.

We had a lot of conversations about it. And when, you know, he said throw out your stupid number, and I threw it out, and he said, I'm good. I'm in. So that's it. Right?

And then the other one that I think is gonna surprise well, actually, two more. I'm moving my, Peyton, PMG, BGS nine. So, I mean, I I will give a shout out to Jordan, Northwood, because his, sale recently on eBay kinda prompted that.

Right? Like, you get to a point where, right, I mean, you know, when a card you have in a spreadsheet at a at a value which you think is high anyway and you can get significantly more than that, it it might be time to make a move.

Right? And once again, I love it because this was a a trade cash deal. Right? So I'm getting something back that's awesome, that can also fit into the PC.

But then I move these big huge PC cards that I don't think I'm gonna move. I wanna, it's not just all about the money. I wanna get something back that I like and appreciate. Right? That that is also a PC component for me.

And it was a pretty simple deal. I I I set a number, we agreed to it, and then we did a card cash flow, and it was easy. So, and then the last one is my, the prism, the the Tom Brady 2018 stained glass gold mojo.

Yes, it can. So this one, I I would actually say this one was tougher than the the two patents, because if you've ever held one of these in hand, whether for any player, they're they're works of art.

They're absolutely stunning. But, you know, this is going to a very close friend, you know, somebody who has the 2017 PSA 10, so they wanted the 2018 to go with it.

They they made me a very strong offer, and I I kinda thought about it. I said, listen. I said, you know, I I just I I'd like to get a little more, and and it happens.

So, I mean, you know, I think that's gonna be a massive car down the road. I I still have my 2017, so that kinda helps. Right? So I have a I have a 2017, Brady, stained glass gold Mojo BGS nine five two gen plus.

Right? So if that one the 2018 does skyrocket, I can at least take solace in the fact that I still have that. And I did tell Grayson because he was not happy when I moved this card.

I told him we're keeping the 2017, buddy. Alright? So we'll have that. It's Mahomes rookie years. We're trying to sell it to him that way. He's a he's a he's a huge Mahomes and Chiefs fan, much to his Raiders fan dance this May.

Right? But, yeah. And and, you know, for me, the fact that it's going into a collection where it's a it's a close friend and it helps them complete a piece of their collection, that means stuff to me.

Right? Like, you know, sometimes people think, like, dealers are all used car salesman.

Right? But for me, particular, still being very much a collector and having a very large PC of both Peyton and Brady, it definitely means something to me when the the card was in a collection that I know it's gonna stay in.

And it helps complete a a a portion of a collection for somebody. Right? And I know it's not gonna be on eBay for, 100 k or best offer the next day.

Right? Because we know there's plenty of people out there who say, you know, I need this. It's my PC and then, you know, picked up a grill, and next day they put it available.

Right? So we we know how that goes. Right? And how annoying that can be. Right? But I know that this is not gonna happen in these cases, so that kinda helped the cause.

But in each case, yeah, I mean, you know, both people reach, the all three people reached out. They made strong offers, very little back and forth, to be honest with you, for the size of deals like this.

So, and that's kind of amazing if you think about it. Right? When you start talking about bigger 5 figure, even 6 figure cards. Right?

Like, when you can complete a deal through very few DMs, first of all, you're working with two very level headed people, and you're working with two people who very much appreciate the card, the uniqueness of it, the rarity of it, the value of it.

And then, obviously, on the other side, the person getting the card, you're working with somebody who really wants the damn card.

Right? And that's what it boils down to. Right? Like, how much do you actually want the card? Forget comps. Forget what's out there.

Like, how much do you actually want the card? And that that's kinda what it boils down to. Does incredible. Congrats on the deals. That's insane. Like, them those three cards, the I can't even imagine just, like, the entire process.

Does your does your mindset shift at all going into the national knowing that you've got these three deals done? Like, does this change anything for you? I'm gonna be a lot more relaxed.

I can tell you. Exactly. So, Brett, it's crazy. Like, I have, you know, I have I have a number. The last two years, I've I've consecutively broke my number. So I'm not all about sales. I'm about inventory moved.

Right? Because so that's what I look at in terms of, like, what I'm moving at the national. Right? So it's not all about just the cash or the Venmo, whatever I'm taking in. It's about how much of my inventory did I move.

Right? So the last two years, it was a huge number. And I was like, man, I didn't I didn't even set up last year. Right? So it was kinda crazy. This year has already massively surpassed those two numbers, which is blowing my mind.

Right? And it and it's it's it's by, like, 10 cards, 10 total cards. So, like, people right now, like, the way this market is, they want good premium stuff. Right? So I'm kinda like I've saw my live the other night. I'm like, hey, guy.

I wouldn't mind letting up a couple of smaller deals here and there. Right? Like, it does not have to be these massive monster cards. Right? And then literally, I'm in conversations, text right now about another massive card.

Right? So I'm just it's crazy, that the and some of these cards, they're so unique. There's no confirmation. Right? And, I've had very little pushback on my numbers, which, you know, I I try to be fair.

Right? But I'm also very open with, like, you know, I'm bringing certain cards where I want a massive premium. It it's priced over. Otherwise, I'm not moving it.

Right? So I usually have justification for how I price stuff. Right? I try to be fair. You know, I've dealt together before. You know. Right? But there's certain stuff where it's like, there's really no number here.

So it's I like it's I'm making the number from somewhere. Right? So, and when you're moving these big high end cards, you expect some pushback. Well, you don't think it's that. I think it's this. Like, it's really just been okay. Cool.

Let's let's let's try to work this out. Right? So, I I, you know, I can't believe the amount of the the total number, dollar wise, of inventory I've moved leading into the show, not quantity quality, and just the ease of these deals.

Right? So that's it's those are two things that are are sticking out to me before the show.

And and, you know, when I was on live with a friend of mine, Jake North Shore Cards, when I did my national do's and don'ts, he talked about how this is very much a collector show.

Right? This isn't the show where the younger generation's gonna go in and be buying stuff at 82.

3 percent comps to flip to repackers. Right? Like, you know, a lot of dealers are getting full comp for their stuff at this show. So that's something people have to realize.

Right? And especially when it comes to the rare, unique, high quality stuff. And that's what I'm seeing firsthand in these deals I have lined up for the show. Maybe share one so your story moving those cards, all bangers.

You just look online and seeing what's happening with auction sales. Like, we we're in a very the market is very, very strong right now. You know, the last June's card ladder number was an all time high since they've been tracking it.

I, what what advice do you have for the collector who's going to the show, who sees the card in one of these tables, and and is trying to get it?

And what, like, what should their mindset be knowing that, you know, dealers are here, they're paying to be here, the market's really strong?

Like, what what sort of advice do you have, especially if it's a card that that collector really needs?

Yeah. So my number one piece of advice, and I talked about this on my national do's and don'ts live, is if you see it day one, get it. Because I I just don't think it's gonna be there day three or four, maybe even day two.

Right? So if you know it's a rare, highly sought after card, it's going to move with the show. I'm seeing it firsthand with the rare high quality stuff that I have and how it's already moved leading into the show.

Right? With that being said, like, it's it's it can be a tough market to buy in right now, especially on certain guys. You know, like, there's certain guys who have massively run up.

I'm not gonna throw names because people people who PC these guys tend to get, like, a little butthurt almost when you talk about how the market's kind of inflated and you get, like, if I'm just not gonna I don't wanna get into that.

But you gotta, like, you can't just go off the last comp, but I wanna track it.

Right? Because I've a prime example, I had a crowd the other day I was gonna think about buying, and I tracked the comps all the way back to December and it was up like 150%.

That doesn't feel right to me. Right. So there's certain, and we talked about a little bit in our paid and chat the other day, right. There's certain sectors right now that, it almost feels unorganic, if that makes sense.

So I'm not sure. It it has a little bit of a COVID feel with certain dudes right now. So, I I've been preaching to some closer friends to kinda tread cautiously, leading in the show.

Right? So but bottom line, I mean, you know, I have friends who don't care. They just want the car. They don't care if they're paying the highest comp.

Right? So, my advice to those friends are just listen. When you see it, go get it. Right? Because, you know, I I just think that, if there was ever a national to be there Wednesday for the preview and Thursday, it's this year.

Right? I like, if I was going walking the show, I would want first look at what's in the room with this show. I think that by Friday, definitely by Saturday, a lot of that stuff is gonna be gone.

Of course, deal is gonna pick other stuff up throughout the show. So I'm not saying I'm not saying, like, the national's gonna be bad Friday or Saturday.

I'm just the type of guy that I wanna see everybody's the first stuff they're putting on the showcase, even if it means I might be paying a little bit more because I want, you know, to go after that higher quality stuff you don't see every day.

Okay. We're gonna get into your card, but I have a question just like a tactical question. If There there's so many cards and people are gonna a lot of people are coming for the first time and, you know, people are gonna have cash.

And let's say a collector goes and buys a card and spends, you know, they have, you know, $22,500 in their pocket and they spend 2 k on a card.

Hours later, they go over to another table, and they see a card that they need, and it for, you know, $1,500. They've only got $500 left, in their pocket.

Right? But they need the card. Like, can you maybe talk through, like, from your experience, is, like, from a payment perspective, is there, like, flexibility with, the way people, like, whether it's cash, whether it's Venmo or Zelle?

Like like, what have you seen? And I just wanna give, like, listeners just a mindset because that's a situation that I think happens that not many people talk about. Yeah. First off, I think that, making relationships is big.

Like, you know, I'm gonna give you a prime example. Like, you and I are close, man. Like, you come to my table and I got a $2,000 card. You only got $500 left. You're walking away with it because I know you're good for the money.

Right? So I think having those close and that's not gonna happen with everybody, but I think having those close relationships where, you know, if you do a bunch of deals with close friends, that can happen.

Right? And I've I I have a running list in my phone right now of of five or six people who owe me x amount because I know what they're good for. They're gonna give it to me and trade it whatever else. Right?

That's not that's a very small percentage of what can happen at the national. Right? But it's why I always tell people bring some ammo. Right? And what I used to do when I walked a show like this, I would have two boxes of ammo. Right?

I would have the box I carried around with me with the stuff that I'm perfectly fine getting rid of, and I would have a second box in my backpack of, like, the tighter PC stuff I don't wanna get rid of unless I see that card you just mentioned.

So if I just, you know, spent my WAD elsewhere, now I see, oh my god. Like, I need this card too. Right?

I, you know, I show that first box and the deal isn't liking that stuff. I break out the second box if that's the card. Right? So whatever you're walking with in your hand, dealers are gonna be like shocks. Can I take a look at that?

Are you selling stuff? Whatever else. Right? So if you have, like, PC stuff, better stuff that you really don't wanna move unless you find that super awesome card like you just mentioned, I'd have that elsewhere.

That's not visible. Right? Because you don't wanna be pestered and hounded for that stuff. And then listen, man. Like, you know, people are human.

You you put a box on the table with all of your stuff and, you know, your the stuff you really wanna move and the stuff you don't, and you start getting thrown out these numbers and wads of cash out on the table, you might move something.

You walk away like, oh my god. Why did I just move that?

Right? You just kinda get caught up in the moment. Right? And there are dealers out there who fully try to take advantage of that, you know, in in dealing with people who who don't deal with a lot of cash and things like that.

So I always say two trade boxes. The one with the stuff that you're not attached to and the stuff that you're more attached to, that's not in the sight of dealers, if that makes sense.

Right? But I would say just bring if you have make your target list and bring good ammo.

Even if it's something you don't wanna move, if you find that top three card in your target list and your eighth card out of your top 10 is the only one the dealer wants, what are you gonna do?

I mean, I would move it to get a top three card. Right? You didn't walk in the show thinking you would move it, but, bring it anyway.

You never know, what you're gonna come across at this show because you're gonna see some insane stuff, that you don't come I mean, I I I talked about it in my lives.

Right? Like, I have certain pieces that I'm literally bringing out just for the show.

They don't move. They go back in the safe until next year. Right? So, you you're really gonna see and I think this year in particular, you're gonna see some insane stuff.

I think with that new dealer room that I'm a part of, you know, you're gonna see high quality cards everywhere, but I I know for a fact there are some very good bigger dealers in this new room.

They haven't had a chance to set up at the National before, and they're gonna be bringing out the goods.

Right? So a little plug for the room upstairs there, but I just think in general, that the quality of cards in the room is very much gonna surpass what it was at the National last year.

So okay. We're gonna get into the the the main, seg of this show.

But for people who wanna come say hi to you, give people instructions on how they do that. Yeah. So I will be at, in the new dealer room upstairs. So when you walk into the convention center, there are escalators to your right.

You go up those, and there's gonna be a new stairs with 75 new dealers who haven't, you know, officially set up for the national before, and I'll be a part of that.

So I'll be table, one zero zero one seven. It's a 75 table room, all eight foot table, so it's not booths. So it's smaller. It's almost like the car show within the car show.

Right? And, I actually was looking through the if you if you haven't downloaded the Luddix app in that interactive map, it's freaking awesome. Right? Like, you can you can type in a dealer.

You can just click on the tables, and it pops up in what they have. Right? So, I mean, mine just says modern cars, but I'll have vintage too. Right? I have it all. But that's where I'll be. I'm super excited.

I I just you know, I was talking to my buddy, Jay, j b thirteen rips, who, is driving out with me. He he helps me out this week. He's only the last three years of the national. And, we're just we're so so amped up for the show.

And then, like, you know, me and Joaquin. Joaquin will just call me, you know, like, hey. I think we're gonna pull up Mahomes Black Friday, then we'll have, like, a a sixty second conversation to hang up.

Right? Or I'll call him, hey. I just I think we're gonna pull them Mahomes Stars and Stripes out of the like, we'll we'll have, like, we'll have a, like, giddy little, like, school children sixty second convo just about the show.

Right? We just I'll talk to you later. Like, we just was so amped up for the show, which, you know, it's just it's gonna be great, man.

I I just I I can't wait. I just, it's it's a highlight every year. Grayson has been asking about going, and I told him, buddy, you gotta be he's eight.

You gotta be double digits to even have this kind of things in life because dad's gotta work and he can't babysit, and dad likes to have some social time post show as well.

So but he'll be there eventually. Doc, I got a ton of people asking if he's going, but he's not going, but he'll be there eventually. But, it's, can't wait, man. It's I'm I'm I'm counting down the days.

That's for sure. That's amazing. Alright. Let's get on into it. So I have up on the screen, the 98 Flare Brilliance 24 karat gold Peyton Manning BGS nine of one of, if not the best, in my opinion, looking Manning rookie cards.

We're gonna get into kinda how you got this card, but I have a simple question up top.

When you think of Manning's catalog, you think of all of his cards, like and you think about this card, what does this card as a long time Peyton Manning fan and collector mean to you?

Yeah. I mean, it it's it's just it's absolutely stunning in person. And I I had never held first of all, it's right behind me, by the way, right on my wall.

I got a picture of it above my head on my wall. I got some, like, eight by tens. I blew up on my some PC cards. Right? But I had never held one of these in hand before.

I'd heard about them. And then when I got this thing in the mail because, you know, you you know, at this point in time, like, the the amount of money I paid for was a lot of money to me.

I've had this thing for eight to ten years. Right? And what's a lot of money to me now? And back then, it's two or very different things.

Right? You get older and, you know, whatever. But so I wouldn't say there was regret when I made the purchase, but it was, like, little uneasiness. Right? There was also, more money I paid for a card in a long time at that point.

But when I got this thing in the mail, it was almost like you could it was almost like it was glowing through the package. Like, it was like it was it was it was it was unreal.

You you take it out and these these 24 karat golds in person, it it shine like no other shine. It's just absolutely incredible. So and for me, like, it's the most aesthetically pleasing Peyton rookie. I I I firmly believe that.

And the fact that, you know, like, I talked about moving my PMG, a big part of that, because it was the PMG or this one, right, which I thought about or if I if push came to shove and I had to move one, what would I keep?

And it came down to the pro uniform for me on this card, right, versus the college uniform of patent on the PMG.

That was a big part of the decision there. But this this card, man, I mean, have you ever held one in person even on a patent of a of a different guy?

I I have. Yes. Yeah. It it it I almost don't like doing it because it just makes me wanna, like, back up the Brink's truck for one of these. For for a patent. Right? Like, it's just that they're they're so they're incredible.

And I would highly suggest anybody out there, if you've never held one in person, find one at the National, ask to look at it and just take it out. And then if you have a PC guy in this set, you know, obviously, Peyton's a huge money.

Moss would be big money. Right? But there's other guys in there, right, that, might not completely break the national bank, but, go get one because they're they're absolutely stunning in person.

How how long have you owned this card, Kevin? Yeah. I was actually thinking about that. I think it's, like, around close to ten years now. So, yeah, it it's it's it wasn't a, quote, unquote, bin smash, but it was put up on eBay.

And I'll just talk the number. It's the Disney's old couple comps. So it was on eBay for, like, $17. 99. So $1,799. Right? And I'm looking at it, and I'm like, oh my god.

I'm like, this is unbelievable. Right? And I had kinda wanted one, but, like, I didn't I didn't I was I didn't have the knowledge. I bought the card now with the set. So I I did a little research.

And, you know, I mean, for me, like, that that was a that was a shit ton of money at the time. Like, a lot of money. That was like me not buying a car for the next three months then. Right? Maybe longer even though I still did.

Right? But, so I I messaged the guy, and I said, you know, can you do this is back when you could message people on eBay about doing deals off eBay without, you know, worrying about getting blacklisted to get an electric chair.

Right? So, you know, so I I said, do you think you can do any better? And, like, he's like, well, I have offers coming in.

He's like, what what are you thinking? And I I pulled up an old comp, from, like, a year before or something, and it was for, like, $1,250. And it was a but it was a weird listing. It wasn't listing.

You go we we know how that goes. Right? Like, there's certain times where a card sells for a lot lower than, other cards because the seller didn't know how to list it. Right? And there's less eyes on it. And he's like, you know what?

He's like and I I told him, I said, listen. I really want this car for my collection. You know, it's a big purchase for me. I'm a huge Peyton Manning fan. I was trying to sales pitch, right, like, as to why I should own the card.

He goes, you know what? He's like, I didn't see that comp. He's like, I'll I'll do that. So I got it for $12. 50. Right? So it it it was I I couldn't and I it's one of those things, like, I I paid.

I'm like, am I gonna get this card? Like, is it is this gonna ship? But, I mean, got shipped in, definitely one of my better purchases in my entire life in the card world.

That's for sure based on what this thing is projected to be worth now. And this is one where I could move this for a massive profit right now, but I just have zero interest in doing that.

I don't even know what what the what a number would be that we would even take to make me even think about moving this, but, I just I I love the card.

It's my favorite. You know, I would top three, probably number one, Peyton Manning card in the collection. I I I'm a huge tops gold label guy.

So my my class three red label PSA 10 is in my top three as well in that card. Funny fun acquisition story there as well. So this wasn't necessarily a bin smash, but literally, it was the day of it got put up.

I I I acquired it. And, you know, fortunately, I worked with a very cool seller, and he, you know, was able to match the sale I found even though it was kind of a crappy listing.

I think the cards went a little more. So, when you're spending a very large chunk of your bank account, it's can always be as much as you love the card and love cards, it can always be an uneasy feeling.

Right? But when I got this thing and I opened it up, the the uneasy feeling was absolutely gone because this was just the card is just absolutely incredible.

I we literally you know, it's off-site. I don't I don't keep it here. But so me and my son will make a trip to go see some cards that are off-site, and we we love looking at this one together.

So and the fact that, you know, this card jumps out to him, the fact that I can do stuff like that with him now, that's why it was so tough to move that stained glass, Brady, because he loved the card so much.

Right? So I'm in a very different world now where, like, how my son looks at my PC cards matters to me.

Right? So the ones that he the ones that stick out to him, I wanna keep. So quick prime example of that, I had the, you know, the mosaic refractors out of finest.

Right? So we're we talk about those a lot. 2010, 2011. I had the 2011, the throwback uniform of Brady BGS nine five. And we went to the bank to go get it out.

He he like he's like, dad, I can't believe you're moving this. I love this card. I said, buddy, I'm getting one back. I'm getting the PSA nine back in the deal. That was the only way that car was gonna move.

Right? So maybe that's it. Maybe the only way I ever moved this, right, if if I got a lower grade back and some cash or something like that. But, I just this this car, man, I I love looking at it on screen.

Like I said, it's literally in an eight by 10 above my head in my office. When you walk in, you see it, on the wall. So, it's one I'm very proud of. It's one I love, and the fact that my son loves it makes it that much more special now.

I to me, like, obviously, the the price you got this for and how you got it is is, important in part of the story. But for me, the story is the fact that you've had this card for ten years and it hasn't gone anywhere.

So often cards move in and out of our collections even when we love it. I mean, owning a card I'd say owning a card for a year or two these days is is a an accomplishment.

What we like, maybe, like, through all those moments and I'm sure, like, there might have been times where you look at the card and it's like, man, that could help pay for x, y, and z.

Like, what has led to you saying, out of all of my cards, this card is not leaving my collection right now.

Yeah. Because you're right. Because I mean, you know, so we when we first, you know, when, you know, you have you have your first kid. Right? And I had to make decisions.

Right? Actually, I had a great, I was actually making a decision whether to sell my Peyton Manning collection or sell I had a great collection of NFL Network did I think we talked about this before, did a a show.

It's gotta be ten years plus now of the top 100 greatest players of all time. Just for perspective with that, when they did the show, Peyton was eight and Brady was 20.

Right? So so just just for how long ago that was. Right? So I put a collection together of all autographs of everybody in that list, and I had some super rare cut autos and stuff like that.

So kinda laid it out, and I said, alright. Like, you know, every dad goes through financial panic mode once you officially having a kid. And I I don't think that's uncommon. Right? And I went through freaking financial panic mode.

Like, how you Google online, how much does a kid cost per year? You can't do it. Like, oh my god. We'll be living, you know, out of our car. Right? So, yeah. So I sold that Hall of Fame collection.

I I still regret it to this day, but, obviously, I I regret it and I don't regret it. I just know that sometimes you move a piece, you know you're never gonna get back, and there was some stuff in it.

I'm I just I'm never gonna see it again. Right? So that that was the decision there. Right? And then, you know, we bought our dream house probably three or four years four years ago now, this summer. And, I always wanted a man cave.

Right? And, you know, I I said, alright. I'm going to sell a couple pieces that I know I can make big profit margins on, and we're gonna pay for that man cave, right, and some landscaping outside and things like that.

This card was in the conversation in in my head, but ended up moving a couple of Brady's that I had dupes of fortunately that were big profits for me.

But, yeah, I just you know, I I think about getting it. I think about how I got it. I think about how stressful the purpose was at the time.

I think about, opening it when I got it in the mail and how excited I was, like a little kid at a candy store. Right? All those things factored into me and ultimately keeping this one, and I'm glad I did.

And I listen. I actually this and the PMG, I was I was given offers on probably three or four years ago. Very strong offers, and I almost moved them both, and I didn't.

And I'm sure as hell glad I didn't based on what they're worth now. Right? But, I'm glad I did it for more reasons beside the financial part. It takes a lot to hold on to a PC card, especially when a market like this. Right?

And, you know, I try to explain to these younger kids and my friends, like, the cards that I've made the biggest if you if you're just in this for money, the cards that I've made the biggest profits on, the ones I've held in five plus years.

I don't think that's a coincidence. Right? So, you gotta get beyond, like, the the whole young prospect trend and flipping and getting it to repackers and making your 8%.

Right? Like, if you wanna be in this game for a while and you wanna make some serious money, you gotta you gotta hit on dudes.

Absolutely right. But, it's okay to hold cards. Right? Because I will tell you, 9. 5 times out of 10 when I've held a card for five plus years, it's really paid off for me.

You know, I'm not saying that, Trevor Lawrence was gonna pay off for you in five to ten years or or another younger quarterback, right, that hasn't paid off for people.

But, make some calculated risks and and and and hold a card for a while and kinda see how that goes for you because that's been my biggest success stories in the card world. Incredible card.

A lot of ton of great lessons in there. Let's move over to some bin smashes. I can't have you on this without talking about Brady. And I wanted to talk about this, 2,000 SP authentic Brady rookie out of twelve fifty b g s nine five.

This got, been smashed for $14,499 on July 18. I was digging back in the history, and it's crazy. This card peaked at 95 at one point during the wacky wild and wacky ride of the pandemic.

Let's talk about maybe just, like, your viewpoint on this card. And I know there's a lot of copies, but, definitely, I think one of the most recognizable Brady rookie cards.

And then maybe talk about just the Brady market heading into the biggest event of the year. Yeah. So it's funny. I just picked up one of these, at the Mohegan Sun Show, in June.

And, I brought it to Fanatics Fest, And, you know, everybody offered me this and that. And I'm just like, I'm not taking less than this. I'm glad I held my ground because it's up.

One of these actually popped off on all to the other night for over 16 k. And Wow. I think that prompted this bin smash. So whether that one or all got I it it I checked literally a day ago, and it said payment initiated. Right?

Because I like to make sure these sales are legit, obviously. Right? Anybody can bid something up and not pay for it, and that's also people have to be careful of before the national. Right? Because that definitely happens out there.

People are are shilling, you know, stuff to to make their stuff worth more. Right? But this particular car, this is a funny car because I was never a fan of this car for a long time. I always thought to myself, it's it's number 1250.

It there's a bunch of them out there. Like, I don't see what the fuss is about. I'd rather have this, this, and this versus spending, you know, 10 k, which they've been sitting around 10 k for a while.

They're shooting up in the last, like, six months. But then I bought one, and I held it in my hand. And it's a very well designed card. There's like a textured surface to it in spots.

I was able to appreciate it more when I it wasn't like the the 24 carat where I knew the car was badass. Right? But when I got it in hand, it just increased it that much more. This one, I hadn't had.

Right? And it was usually a price point issue for me. Like, I would say, listen. Rather than spending this, I'd rather have five of these. Right? And I go that route. Also, from a dealer standpoint, you talk about your buyer pool.

I talk about this a lot. Like, it's easier to move five two k cards versus one ten k card. Right? That's just how it is. Is there's more buyers for low lower end bracket versus a five figure card.

So that factors into a lot of my decisions when it comes to being a dealer. Right now, that's out the door, though. I mean, you're moving 5 figure cards left and right.

It's a freaking crazy world right now. But, yeah, this I I I'm definitely I'm much more of an advocate for this card now than I ever have been, and it's not just because I own one. It's because I held it in hand.

And also you think about the the brand. SB authentic was the product. That was the high end product back in the day. So I think as I've evolved as a collector in in in the dealer life and understanding how sets matter, this set matters.

SV authentic matters. And I think that's why this card, has been kind of on the higher pedestal of the Brady rookie tier. We're doing like a, you know, a pyramid.

Right? It's definitely sitting close to the top for sure. And just Brady right now, man. It's it's I have moved more Brady this year, than I have in COVID. So that's that's pretty incredible to think about if you think about it.

Right? I do think that last year's NFL season is a factor there, for two reasons. I think that literally every single quarterback minus Mahomes went down in value last year.

It was a terrible year for young quarterbacks. Right? Even the borough of the world who put up MVP numbers, his team sucked. Right? If you look at a guy like CJ Stroud, who I was sold on I still am sold.

I still like Stroud. So let me preface what I'm gonna say by saying that. But his stats sucked. Right? Even though he made the playoffs again, won a playoff game, his he was value was down over 50%.

Right? So did people finally take lessons from last year, hopefully? Right? And I also thank the fact that, Mahomes got his ass kicked again in the Super Bowl, for the second time, the first time being by Brady himself.

I think that completely solidified not that there should have been any goat debate anyway, but I think it completely solidified the fact that he is the goat, and that's never gonna change.

So I have since the Super Bowl, I have seen a massive, demand for Brady cards.

And then since that steadily rising, you know, as the demand it's fine demand. Right? As as everything is. Right? As this demand increases, you know, it it's definitely affecting the comps.

And this card in particular, right, like, this card, if if we look at, like, comps from end of last year, beginning of this year, I would say it's probably around 10, 10 to 11 k.

Right? This comp was paid for. I checked this I was literally pricing my cards for my live for the national the other night. This one was confirmed paid for.

I always check that on Terapeak. So you can definitely when you deal with me, I'm not just pricing stuff based off of sales. I'm pricing stuff based off of confirmed sales. So I wanna be very upfront with that because I'm in it.

I gotta make money. It's paying my bills. Right? But I also I don't want somebody buying a car and feeling, you know, absolutely terrible about it after they leave my table and my booth.

Right? But, yeah, definitely, you know, crazy bin smash. I think that auction on alt definitely prompted this bin smash.

And I'll be curious to see where the next few public copies of this card go, now that there's kind of a new set market for it in that 14 to 16 range. Alright. We segue from Brady. You mentioned him to Patrick Mahomes.

This is the 2020 Mahomes Mosaic Nebula one of one PSA nine. There's definitely a nebula craze here in the football card market. This thing got been smashed for $18,999. Curious, with Mahomes, you mentioned it briefly in the last one.

I I guess first, like, what do you think about this card just aesthetically? Like, as a collector, I'd love to get your opinion on it. This card does absolutely nothing for me. Oh, okay.

Nothing. I and when for me, it it's not it's not a bad looking card, but that price is insane. Right? Like, for me, you know, there were two Mahomes PSA nine Prism Truebould that popped off, via auction the other night via MCC.

That they went for, like, 11 and 13 k. I'd rather have those 30 times over before I'd spend 18 to $19 on this card.

That's just how I feel. And for me, with him to his market and he's got big demand for his cards right now too. I'm more of a rookie guy, with him, and he has some really nice shiny rookies, prism optic, things like that.

I would just in terms of money being better served, I I think it'd be much better served than a a couple really nice prism numbered rookie Mahomes cards or one of those prism golds, right, that popped off.

Right? I just think that, I don't know. It's just it's it's it's not a first or second year card.

Like, I don't know. It it's a nice looking card, but for that price point, that I I couldn't when when when you sent me your notes, before we did this, I double take that. I was like, what? I'll make that card sold for that.

But once again, it shows you with a one of one, like, all it takes is one. Collective who really, really want maybe this guy is strictly looking for Mahomes nebulas across the board, and he said, alright.

I got my chance. Here it is. Right? So, you know, you just you never know with one of ones. It's it's it's not like there's, other comps out there. You can check other nebulas, but this one definitely blew my mind.

No doubt. And I don't like talking bad about cards. I think it's a good looking card. It's just for that price, but I'm like, wow. I I would rather have it's like we talked about the SV authentic, right, with the Brady.

I never owned the car because I would rather have so much other stuff versus that. When I held the Brady SV authentic in hand, my mind changed. Maybe if I held this Mahomes Nebula in hand, my mind would change a little bit.

But, yeah, this this one shocked me when you sent this one. I I thought there might have been a misprint number in there. And but here we are. It's crazy. So you you said you'd rather have his rookie stuff, and that would be your focus.

And then we you talked about you referenced the two gold sales that went on MC, for '11 and '13, and you mentioned you'd rather put your money there than a card like this.

Is is the main driving force because it's kind of been a theme of this conversation. Is it is it based on the brand, like the Prism brand?

Is that is that where your head goes when you're thinking about kind of putting your money in, Mahomes cards, putting them there versus, you know, maybe a one of one like this, or is it something else?

Yeah. So I'll preface this by saying I love Mosaic. Me and my son break a lot of it.

I think it's a really cool product, but it's it's the, you know, distant seventh cousin to Prism. Yeah. Prism is king. Right? And for me, obviously, I have a intense bias and love for gold. I think you and I both do there.

Right? So prism true golds, the chance to own one of those versus this, I don't think I I think if you pulled 10 people, I think nine out of 10 would say it's a no brainer to go go for the prism true gold.

You know? That's just where I stand with it. But once again, love mosaic. Me and Greg, we break a lot of it.

Really cool looking cards, and it's a cheap way to do a break with with a a younger kid too. But you talk about brand. You know, like you said, we've had a lot of conversations about brand in this episode.

But I I think brand wise, it's it's Prism. No question. Before we move on to the the final card here, maybe a little bit on Mahomes and, you know, obviously, he got his beat up in the Super Bowl, but he's Patrick Mahomes.

Right? Everyone's going to be looking at the Chiefs for another run this year. What what are you seeing just, like, post him getting beat this time not by Tom Brady in the Super Bowl? What have you been seeing with his cards in market?

Well, first of all, let's not act like it was all Mahomes that the line like this this reminded me of the Peyton Manning versus the Seahawks Super Bowl. Yeah. Where it was over from the get go. They just got steamrolled in.

Right? Sometimes it's funny. We we had a playoff game in our, summer league team that I helped coach my son in last night, and we were the one seed, and we got steamrolled right bad. And he was upset. I said, buddy, this is sports, man.

I mean, sometimes it's just not your night, and it's unfortunate that that happened on a playoff game for us, or it's unfortunate it happened for the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, but sometimes it's just not your night.

That definitely wasn't the same Chiefs team as it has been. I I think that they snuck by a lot all throughout the season. Right? Winning games, and they shouldn't have won. My Raiders botching a snap.

Did they should have beaten right? Denver missing a a chip shot, gonna feel a little blocked. Right? So they should have had many more losses than they had. It was like that breaking bad GIF. He can't keep getting away with this.

Right? That's how people were feeling about Mahomes and and finally, you know which one I'm talking about. Right? And then finally finally, he didn't get away with it, right, in the biggest spotlight.

So his stuffs went down. His stuff didn't go down as much as I thought it would. But I think he's a great buy. I've been preaching this to people since that loss.

I wanted to spend a significant chunk of change on my home's post I was actually happy he lost, I could buy more. I wanted to buy some stuff to put away, but the opportunities haven't really been there.

There's still a demand. He's still by far the best player in the world, on the bet in in the best organization right now, I feel like. He's set up for success.

They're getting some receiving options back this year. Kelsey is getting older, but, you know, push comes to shove until I'm still taking Mahomes in any big game over anybody else. And, definitely, there's a demand for his stuff.

But I will say this, like, people are funny. People trying to get his stuff at a discount and buy it are hilarious. Right? Like, like, the finance fest. I so I have a prism. I'll be showing off tonight when I go live.

I got a prism orange, PSA 10 of Mahomes, number. I think it's number two seventy five. And, people were trying to buy that at the show. Like, I'm like they're like, well, the last console I said, guys, this is Mahomes.

I said, I'm moving them for full retail. I'm not moving them. It's that simple. I have no problem holding this stuff. Right? So, that that card, I must have got 10 different people make offers on it.

But for, like, you know, 85 to 90%, I'm like, there's just no way. I said, this is it's it's Mahomes. We know who we're talking. We're not we're not talking about Caleb Williams or some other younger quarterback who are right.

You know, I'll let it go, whatever. This is Mahomes. There is no sure more surefire bet in the hobby, in my opinion, in the football market over the next ten years than Patrick Mahomes.

Right? So I have I have zero ambition to move his stuff at a discount. So but there's definitely been a demand for his stuff, but, people trying to get it at a discount.

I mean, I'm I'm I gotta buy his stuff at 90 to 95% just to get it. Right? So, whereas when a quarterback loses a big game, sometimes their value falls off the cliff and people wanna get rid of it.

Nobody was dumping Mahomes, as I hope they were going to be. So credit to everybody out there who has Mahomes, who who it wasn't just a surefire dump panic mode because listen.

He's how much is he he's won so much compared to the league. Right? There's no need to panic sell in a situation like that.

So, I still think he's a good buy, even where his prices are right now. I just think that you look over the next decade of if I had to pick one player in the football market who I want, it's Patrick Mahomes. There's no question.

Somebody who's still active in playing. I love it. I'll I'll just give you a little, maybe as a football fan and you're I know you're a Raiders fan. If if I am betting on a team to overcome what their win total is this year.

I think I'm going with the Raiders, and I know that might sound crazy, but you got Gino, Genti, Bowers, Pete Carroll. I mean, it's looking a lot more promising than it has been in years past, Kevin.

The only these conversations I've had only to beat absolutely disappointed by by, like, week three. It's so funny because I'm in Patriots nation, you know, being the Boston area, and the Raiders are at the Patriots week one.

Oh, wow. We're all optimistic about our team. I said, there's gonna be either me or the whole my area who's gonna be absolutely miserable after week one. Season's over, no chance of the playoffs.

And the other teams are gonna think they got a chance at the Super Bowl. You know what I mean? There there are two teams that are pretty similar in their Vegas Yes. In the win total and in their I think, alright.

You know, we we got some changes, head coaching changes, new dudes, like, in terms of, like, positivity surrounding the fan base. And then one of us is gonna be so miserable after week one. Dude, I but it it whatever.

I but I'm I love that. I love that. Drake, May, Geno Smith matchup. Something about that. Week one, that I'm I'm tuning into that. That's a game I wanna watch. There's that game. I'll tell you the other game too.

Monday night football, Bears, Vikings, Caleb Williams versus JJ McCarthy. Like, my son me and my son look at the schedule. He's fight because we he's got a you know, we bunch, break a bunch of twenty twenty four WACs.

He's got a bunch of McCarthy and Williams cards, and he likes them both as every kid likes every young quarterback and thinks they're gonna be great.

And so I said, but, buddy, like, you know, one of those markets for that player is not gonna look pretty after week one.

Yeah. I'm trying to explain it, buddy. It changes week to week. It's crazy. Like, it it it truly is. So, yeah, man. I'm fired up. I'm excited. I mean, you know, I I was just so excited they didn't screw up the first round draft pick.

Like, take the dude in action. And last year, take take the best player available. And obviously paid off with Bowers. He's, you know, top three tight end in the league. You could probably argue him number one right now.

I'd take I'd take him number one right now. Yeah. Yeah. Right. And we we talked about it. Right? Like, my dad wanted him as a Colts fan. I know you guys were projected to get him in many mock drafts.

So but that being said, I like the kid you drafted this year. And what I right? I mean, I like I like him a lot. So, yeah, I'm fired up, man. I just I've I was fired up for football season.

Like, just get here. We're in that weird lull of sports where there's, like, nothing right now. You know? Like, it's, like, it's just baseball and WNBA, which nothing against those two sports, but, like, you know, I want options.

Like, we had, like, a month and a half back, you had, WNBA, NBA, baseball, hockey, basket. It it was just it was it was awesome to have all these options.

Right now, it's like there's not many. So once football gets here, the options and the NBA starts coming later in the fall and the options pick back up, and it's it's it's great TV.

Again, there's always something to watch on TV, as you're, kicking back after a long day. Alright. We're talking, young quarterbacks. Probably one of them well, the most successful, young quarterback, recently in terms of runs.

You've got the 2024 Prism Jaden Daniels gold vinyl, got been smashed March 7 for 37 k. You've got the player, the brand, the parallel, all the check boxes, and 37 k is no joke.

But I you know, there's a lot of talk with Daniels. Like, all the ex world all the expectations are on his shoulders. Can they do what they do? You got a year of film.

You got a harder schedule. I would love to get your mindset on just, like, this crazy sale for this card, which is a wonderful card of his, and, also, like, Daniel's year two expectations. So this was what was the date on this one?

03/07/2025. So this person is feeling really good about this purchase after the Black Finite public sale from AdX Fest. I would say Yes. This card was it's gonna be more than that at this point.

So, great buy, I think, to whoever bought this. You mentioned something in what you just said that I think is big. I'm a big believer in judging judging a quarterback in their second year.

Right? Because like you just said, once the league has film on you and these coaches have a whole off season to game plan for you, things tend to be much more difficult.

So I love Jaden. I I love him. I like how he carries himself. My son owns his jersey, and my son only buys jerseys of people I endorse. Right? Like, he wanted a Tyreek Hill jersey. That wasn't happening. Right?

So, you know, he walks around a Jaden Daniels jersey, right, which I completely endorse. I do think, mom might have to let him go out a little bit on his own a little bit more. That that it's kind of an interesting situation to me.

But he seems like he has a good head in his shoulders, And it seems like the commanders so think about this. The commanders had so many trade offers for that pick, and they did the Raiders tried to move up and get him.

They offered a king's ransom. Didn't want it. They knew they had their guy, which is awesome for them. Right? I just think that his cards I think he's one of the biggest risks on the entire market right now in buying his cards. Mhmm.

With that being said, I think this was a great purchase. Yeah. But because, like, I was explaining this to Grayson the other day because he he loves Jayden. He wants to keep getting his cards. And I finally convinced him to slow down.

I said, buddy, like, if he goes back to the NFC championship and loses again, it's a failure. Like, he accomplished so much his first year. He now has to get to the Super Bowl, right, to even have a quote, unquote successful season.

Right? Because then the conversations will be, well, he's got there twice, couldn't get it done. Maybe he's not the guy. You know how it goes, right, in the media. Right?

And then people start doubting, people start panic selling his stuff. Right? So, like, for me, he the expectations for this kid are absolutely outrageous, and I think that people have to realize that when it comes to buying his cards.

Right? Now I have a couple of Jaden cards I'll have with the national, right, that, you know, I'm sure will move. Right? I wouldn't be objecting to picking Jaden stuff up.

I just think I'm being a little more cautious with him. He's a guy similar to Mahomes that if he ever gets bounced early in the playoffs or they don't make the playoffs, I'll go on a buying spree when his market's down.

Like, I really do like Jayden Daniels a lot, long term. I just think he's a huge risk right now, in buying, getting into his stuff, something I'm preaching to my son, something I'll preach on here. I I've I've talked about it in lives.

It's it's I just you can't help but not think about CJ Stroud and what happened to his market when you look at Jaden Daniels. Because CJ Stroud, rookie of the year, unbelievable season, won a playoff game.

It's a similar script, and then what happened to Stroud stuff? So I think that people gotta tread lightly with caution a little bit even though this isn't my cutting up the player.

I love Jayden Daniels. I wanna make that clear. This is more so learning from the past, understanding that if this kid doesn't make the Super Bowl, what's gonna happen to his stuff?

Right? So I think that's some people that have, think about and be cautious with when putting a large chunk of change into a young quarterback in general, not just Jaden Daniels.

But once again, this looks like a hell of a purchase, and it's a gorgeous card. Like, gorgeous looking card. These these prism gold vinyls.

I mean, I'm, you know, super factor guy. Right? Like, they're they're they're unbelievable. Great looking cards. The best way I think that the commanders can make their way to the Super Bowl is if they make their w r number one happy.

Pay the man his money. Pay Terry. What are you doing? Commanders, you had this year where you look like all the dumb stuff you you did in the past that it's behind us, and then you've got a holdout, and it's like I don't know.

I I'm a Terry guy. He went to my high school. He's been phenomenal the the entire his entire career with very little quarterback support.

Pay him, man. What are you doing? And he's listen. I that's so cool he want you. I gotta tell Grayson that. Grayson loves scary Terry. So he's got a, I think it's a purple ice out of this year's prison with McLaurin.

He he loves that card. I gotta tell him that you went to high school then. That's so cool. But this guy's been on the line with us. Coached him. Oh, that's unbelievable. That is so that's so freaking cool.

Oh, man. This guy's been a model citizen when you guys have sucked. So now that you're good, you're gonna start messing around. Right? And also, you know, you talk about wanting Jaden to be successful in year two.

Right? How about keeping his wide receiver one with him? I don't wanna hear he's 30 or almost 30 blah blah blah, receive his fall off a cliff, pay the man. Like you said, pay him. It's it's ridiculous.

How and by the way, who's your second option? Deebo Samuel, who looks like he's about 40 right now running routes in the field. Right? So you're you're gonna totally screw this kid up if McLaurin isn't in camp, like, next week.

Right? So I I it it you know, it's like the Cowboys and Micah Parsons right now. Like, what like, what do you people do? Like, pay them. Right? Like, I don't understand the messing around and trying to play hardball.

Like, you wanna win or not? Right? And especially in this situation with a young quarterback and his safety blanket and his go to receiver, you know, people don't realize how it can throw off your timing just not being there for a week.

Never mind if he holds out till, like, the end of preseason. Right? Like and then you you start for receiver wise, you start worrying about those soft tissue injuries and things like that.

You see it all the time with the receiver who holds out, doesn't get to camp on time. Week two, hammy injury. He's out of month. Right? Or or calf strain. Right? You see this shit.

Like, get him in camp, man. Because I I like the commanders. I like Jayden Daniels. I like Terry McLaurin. Right? So, get get this guy in camp, pay him his money, and and get the wide receiver one, like you said, happy, with his QB one.

Alright. We close out all of these episodes by me pulling up a listing that I found on eBay, and it's a card I know you're very familiar with.

And, Kevin, I'm not gonna lie. I saw this card, and I was like, I can't believe this card is listed for and I had granted. I haven't looked at it in a while, but we are gonna talk about the 2,009 finest Peyton Manning refractor picks.

Can I see the change of look on your face? PSA ten, one fifty or best offer. What's going on in your head right now, Kevin? It should be. I'm gonna go check and see what's available and probably hit it when we, get that's crazy.

That seems insanely cheap. Insanely cheap. Yeah. I I thought the same thing and I was honestly, I was even considering it, but I figured, well, if Kevin doesn't know about this, he might just purchase the same card.

Crazy. She's so people like, you know, I love this card. Right? And I'm I'm a big only appearance, and this is the only appearance of the Pigscan refractor.

Right? Like, I I posted a Brady crystal atomic the other day. I I love that card because it's the only appearance. Right? The crystal atomic is 40 times better than this card in terms of aesthetics and eye appeal.

Right? But, yeah, that seems, crazy, crazy, crazy cheap to me. By the way, I see do I see a little, Flickr link for Kevin Randall up on the top of the tabs right there? Yeah. That that I used the Flickr link for the, for the Yeah.

For the Yeah. Okay. Don't lie. You were surfing through. Don't lie. I've been sir hey. I sent you a couple messages about some of this stuff. So, yeah, we're all looking right now, Kevin.

Awesome. Yeah. That that that one shocks me. That seems very cheap for that car, definitely. Okay. Remind everyone one more time table number where you'll be at the national, and then we'll get on out of here.

Alright, man. So, yeah, there's a new dealer room with 75, eight foot tables this year. It's upstairs Second Floor. So when you walk into the convention center, you go to the right up the escalators.

I don't know exactly where the room is, but it's gonna be up in that area. And I'll be at Table 10017. You'll see that the captain 37 pop up banner there. I'll be at my buddy, Jay, j b thirteen rips, and, I'll have four showcases out.

There'll be two showcases full of Brady, one with Mahomes, Peyton Manning, other football, and another one and some basketball mixed in with Jordan, and another vintage one as well.

So, yeah, I'm super excited. I'll have a good selection. And, with the big deals, like, we've talked about that have already lined up, I just this has got the makings of being the best national ever.

So I'm I'm super excited. Awesome, Kevin. Looking forward to seeing you in Rosemont. Alright, man. Thanks for having me on as always. Appreciate it.
