it's episode seventeen yes it is technically season two how i look at it but adam how we doing today season two is off and running i like it that's a good way of looking at it yes yes we are in season two technically yeah i mean like it like i i feel we have a lot to talk about every week and you know it's it's always fun to hop on and and and you know talk shop and do the things that we do but like this week with royalty and with the cosmic preorder and potentially sapphire everything like that and we're recording this on tuesday so sapphire is supposed to release tomorrow that's we'll see if that actually happens but man like there's there's just so much going on yeah it's i was talking to somebody about this today it was actually josh from sports cards up there about wrestling and make him understand because he was talking about royalty and i'm like man what people don't realize unless you're in the wrestling scope is we went so long without something and now it's just been nonstop we have so many products to talk about my question is what's the second half of the year gonna look like yeah if we're dealing with all this at once it's front loaded and it's not spaced out but again i could be wrong there could be things coming that we aren't aware of we do know dynasties down the road but we know stadium club's on the way but we went from nothing to universe oh yeah the new u sorry are we gonna get two universes in one year is that what it looks like i believe so so again i i'm excited for everything i think royalty i'm extremely excited for but i i absolutely love topchrome you're with me on this one man they did such a great job i think ultimately you didn't need to have cosmic chrome come out so fast but again i get hey production's ready to go the autographs are done so here we are we're gonna be talking more products and and it's good it's better to be talking about products coming out versus not coming out yeah and i think like obviously there's been a a crazy reaction from the community we'll get into that later in this podcast but you know i think like this is this is gonna be a test of the wwe market like i think we're gonna see a major test here and i'm excited i i think we can handle it i think people can i think people can expect that this is gonna be this is gonna be fun but it's like at the same time it's this is something we haven't really experienced before like i can't i i racked my brain and i cannot think of another time when they've done two products even though it's sapphire potentially and royalty in the same week plus a preorder like and oh by the way chrome is a week old like oh and logofractor logofractor we've got universe and exalt i mean like it's been rapid fire so anyways let's get into the opening pyro we'll get to the market talk here in a minute because i think like there's so much to talk about because we've had bad news followed by some better news followed by some awesome card news we'll we'll we're gonna run the gamut here of everything but i think like let's start i wanna start with the releases because i'll start it off with the the worst of the news so far because i know that this one hit close to home for you it it hit close to home for a lot of people like this happens every year black friday is a thing and you know it's just come to expect that if you're not gonna be used on tv and you're not gonna be put in a position where you're justifying your value to the to the organization they're gonna cut you and i think for years and years wwe hoarded talent and you know now they're feeling more comfortable that they're in a position where if a talent isn't what they're expecting or is too expensive for their business plan they're gonna let them go and you know i think people say well wwe is making money hand over fist why are they releasing people all this other stuff but i mean they're a business and they answer to wall street just like everybody else but i'm curious like you saw these announcements come out last week the wyatt sixx obviously among them parker very tied to those you just had a wonderful experience with them in mania like what was your first reaction to seeing these names and what do you think of of sort of the situation that wwe is kind of in now with with all these things going down yeah obviously kimiya that one hit home because of you know parker being such a fan it's crazy that we met them all on monday and come friday they were gone same week you know and i'm so grateful that parker got that opportunity but man having explained that to him after having to sit the kid down once and tell him that his favorite wrestler passed away that was hard obviously they didn't pass away but do we know if there's ever gonna be a future with them again i don't know i mean obviously probably not i feel like this is more in my opinion more of a disrespect to bray and it should've they should've least kept bo dallas on as a homage to to bray and maybe did some different storyline however it is what it is like you said i i there was value in them i think i've seen enough backlash between people upset with the wyatt six kari sane's getting a lot of people supporting and then obviously alistair black and zelina i mean two very talented people in storylines same as kari i mean i i don't know i i i just there's gotta be more to it that we don't understand again like you alluded to it's a business but it just sucks losing the white six and again partner's still gonna collect them and may at least now they'll be cheaper to acquire and now once these products come out they won't have any stuff for a while but it's it sucks man as fans as of people and wrestlers i mean heck same month parker finally got to see how he wrestled for the first time ever he's never been to a he's always gone to raw and when we went to smackdown they weren't on it and that was the first time he's ever got to see the y eight six you know how he wrestle or any of the y eight six so a special moment in this past month but to just be let go i get it i i hope that they all find the ways dexter lumis in my opinion is the most talented out of all of them that guy is an incredible wrestler he will find work joe gacy is really good for his size i mean rowan is what he is he's been around for a long time but you know i'm not gonna get too much into them but i was just what boggles me alistair black was back for a year they had that storyline going with orton and then completely pivoted to mcafee so maybe this maybe answers some of that cardi singh was in a heated storyline what like what are your thoughts here well i think like i've been reading oh i mean wide six i absolutely would have kept bo dallas and at least joe gacy i think have like make them some crazy tag team yeah loomis i think has a a future i i i don't know why like he wasn't like i thought the serial killer gimmick was kinda cool i like the way he wrestled i liked his move set i liked what he was doing in nxt he was great he was cool yeah really good nxt i thought he was cool so i mean like they clearly could have done something and and i think there's two things that are that's really sort of driving this decision number one i heard smackdown's going back to two hours so they're gonna have a lot less time than they used to secondly i think kairi sane is moving back to japan she wanted to move back to japan is at least what if you take meltzer at his word which i never do that's that's what's been going on good old days like motor city machine guns like all the nxt talents i like okay like none of them like apollo crews hasn't been on tv in years like i mean a lot of the guys that are in this group like the product isn't gonna suffer without them on it could it have been made better if they were put in better positions i i i think there's no doubt in my mind like bo dallas switching back to the believe gimmick or even just giving gacy something to do like these guys are good hands they're gonna carry a show like you need people that can that can fill into those roles when you know you need somebody in a match and i think especially in the house show circuit like that's where a lot of these guys shine and i think it's unfortunate that they they found themselves on the outside looking in but i mean tag team wise i i think we're just talking about this with brett over text message like wwe does not focus on tag teams and like it's just never been a thing for them it's never been something since like demolition and like all those tag teams back in the day like that was the last time that we really saw it and the usos and new day and all those guys like sure they have a lot of really good experience and they have an insane amount of accomplishments but they're not regular focuses of storylines unless something crazy happens with roman reigns or something crazy happens with one of the individuals in those tag teams it's not focused around them as a team no so that's at least my thoughts no the tag team you you're right man like ftr left and their aew praises a lot more tag teams stuff like that sometimes you just gotta go elsewhere to get the recognition you know machine they were great they're actually a really good tag team but that's just not like you said they wwe rather put the tag team on r truth than damian priest yes for comedy reasons and damian priest is a they're both really good wrestlers but comedy wise that's gonna grab more attention it's gonna sell more merchandise and that's what they look at so when you're looking from a business standpoint it's not always the best suited with the wwe sometimes these wrestlers are best suited with other competitors or other brands out there to do what they need to do yeah absolutely and i think like you mentioned the tag teams with damian priest and r truth like wwe looks at their wrestlers as singular individuals and i think collectors do too like it's really hard for collectors to even come in and say i'm gonna collect the new day i'm gonna buy all the cards of three people or all the cards of six people i mean you've said on this podcast numerous times that buying all of the wide six for parker is is really crazy but anyways like i feel bad for the kid having gone through what he's gone through with bray wyatt and now with the wide six like i send him a bunch of cards i hope he gets those thank you i appreciate that like i like it's just like i love to see him happy because he's like he's like everybody's mascot when it comes to wrestling cards and the the stuff that he does so i'm really i really enjoy seeing him enjoy this but hopefully he gets to find somebody else and he'll continue to collect them but there's always hopefully a a future where he gets to to see them on other things like aew or tna or whatever who knows he'll always be a fan of them hey like you mentioned like on friday they got released friday or saturday the nikki cross super order from top's crum released oh got on this year the variation i bought it for him i mean literally i i made an offer the guy had a high up i offered like five hundred bucks and of course i wake up and they took the offer i'm like why wouldn't you she's she's done you know this is literally gonna go to him and it was just such an awesome card so again i i you know i i am all for him putting any his investment into bray wyatt i knew the wyatt six i knew putting the money into how he wasn't gonna resonate back in time but it's what he loves and what we collect so it's up to him if he ever wants to collect anybody else but he's always gonna be a fan and that's one thing i love about it he just isn't i'm done with them they're not there like he's still i asked him like do you still wanna collect them he's like yes i wanna collect them all and i'm like okay we'll continue to pursue what we can now they'll be more financially affordable for danny and we can still collect the wyatt six and bray wyatt because bray wyatt is still gonna get cards man he knows yeah you know so again and i appreciate man but like i said it's just it is what it is it comes with life and you know it's just wrestling is just a hobby of ours to enjoy together but you know it was a lot easier to have that conversation versus the original conversation with brad that one you know they both hurt you know differently but it's time to move on and hope that hey we can watch them on other wrestling markets or whatever down the road so i i think most of them will end up other places they will they will alright in terms of moving on to some other news like smackdown and raw like i call this like silly season that's what they call it in f one when all the drivers move around but like in raw and smackdown like before the draft if they're gonna do a draft this year this is the time where they have struggled mightily to keep storylines in play and make it make sense so i mean like we've already seen new us champion tiffany stratton won from julia there was some concern that julia might be on the chopping block which was very interesting to hear so she won we also got some crazy promos from cody rhodes calling out tko don't mess with my house type of thing and like man what what an insane sort of couple of weeks that we've gone through coming in and out of wrestlemania but i i wanna spend some time just really fast because i i have a lot of stuff to cover in this podcast and i i don't wanna do no way we have a whole fact show today no roman reigns and jacob fattu had a had a a a thing going for the last couple weeks determining if that that was gonna be the main event of backlash and last last week they they started it they finished it that sort of conversation on monday night raw and fatu just looks like a different person now and it's it's so crazy how he can sort of flip on a dime like that and i thought they did it so insanely well i thought they they did some great matches on raw with with becky and io having a banger and like but that final segment and the obafemi segment with grayson waller i think raw was like one of the better like post mania raw as i've seen yeah no it wasn't i think what they're doing obviously keeping roaming around is key that's gonna draw more yeah attention more eyes and everything yeah it's always tough the raw after the raw after mania to build this next storyline to go forward to the future we know smackdown has struggled tremendously in the past so hopefully they're making the right shits for it right now but i'm excited to see this match i think what they're doing is is they're making the you know i think they're you know they're making the bloodline even stronger this time around the usos went out you know jay jimmy sorry jay went out won a world title now we integrate fatu and roman which is gonna be it just seemed like when if fatou loses which is probably what's gonna happen he then has to acknowledge roma does that mean he joins them and i mean so you're telling me are you gonna tell me that the usos before jay wins the title becomes yeet and solo sikoa with roman are stronger or these usos and fatu with roman are stronger i mean i i i think it's way stronger with a guy like fatu he's proven everything so i'm excited to see this bloodline run with what they do i don't know if sammy comes back to it maybe down the road because right now he's got his own storyline gimmick but i would love to see that sammy come back later down the road so who knows how long this is gonna play out but i think what we're setting up for is the collision eventually of roma and omafimi is what we're looking at down the road yeah i i was talking with kevin kulikowski from from new york road show and he was like don't look at the night of champions poster it kinda spoils everything so i think like i think omafemi versus roman reigns is night two summerslam main event minneapolis i minneapolis i i called that earlier i i'm not not going away from that i think that's a pretty big conclusion here but maybe they go seth rollins and roman reigns i don't know they've seemed to allude they've seen that that's gonna be something they're alluding to but either way we also got a plethora of call ups and they weren't shy about it they were just like these people are called up and like usually they they they they sort of like space it out they kinda like sprinkle it in you know all that stuff nope they were like rapid fire so ruka joe hendry fatal influence which is lainie reed jc jane and fallon henley joe hendry ricky saints blake monroe you just pulled the super fracture so congratulations thank you ethan page i mean they went with their top guys right right on all of these call ups i have no arguments here lainie reed and fallon henley getting the call up alongside jc jane was a little bit interesting especially stepping to rhea ripley in the first episode but yeah i mean like i i don't we'll do a star ratings maybe next week and sort of look at collecting from these people from from coming up but i mean like have buy sell hold coming up later in the podcast which is one of the things that one of the games we'll play but i mean like these these guys like hard to argue from a collector standpoint with all these guys getting called up especially soruca and blake monroe looking at some of the top names in the in the in the stable here yeah first off everybody on this list that you just mentioned was at stand and deliver which is just crazy that's there was like hey this is our last hurrah except soul went back and fought you know why am i drawing a blank right now she just bought a zarya zarya jeez i'm drawing a blank but the pop that fatal influence got the booing that was like dominic mysterio level ass booing that is the best case scenario outcome that they could get on a debut is to have the crowd that against you that that says something i'm excited for all three of those girls to come up i'm now i'm glad they kept them with with jc because jc by herself just isn't as dominant isn't as strong to me keeping it as a faction they needed that some type of girl faction coming up so i all these calls make complete sense to me i'm in for all of them you know i think a lot of people are like ricky on the fence but he's put his time he was in aw as ricky starks used to be in wwe as like an extra guy getting thrown around or security we all know about that so the one i'm we're most ex i'm most excited about and i i know many people agree sol rooka most i think everybody's really excited that it's been long overdue in my opinion yeah i mean so sol rooko will be on raw joe hendry on raw fatal influence on raw i have joe hendry on here twice i just realized his name again here yeah ricky saints is is that smackdown smackdown blake monroe is is raw blake monroe is smackdown so yeah i mean like that's that's good stuff like blake monroe specifically i know tons of people hunting for her cards i mean you birdman on on instagram was was hitting people up for for stuff out of chrome she's finally got some autographs she's all over royalty we just looked at the checklist so that'll be fun we'll we'll go through some of this here in a minute but yeah it's i think sol rukh is the gem here but from a collecting standpoint blake monroe also has a lot to to offer and joe hendrie's been selling crazy too like joe hendrie's cards coming out of last year and this year some of the stuff that they've done with tops now like he's he's a he's a bankable guy like i love joe hendry like i i love what he's all about the concert they did on monday night raw was great fire logan paul was amazing so yeah i mean like i i heart like i like guys like joe hendrie who have talent they can talk they can wrestle like all of that stuff so i i think ethan page is good too but he's a heel so very few people are gonna collect him he's a great he's he's got chops too he's got the heel he's he's got it all man i mean i actually like ethan page a lot

alright we are gonna move into the card market high spot segment of the podcast here and man this is this is a busy week and i think we we've seen how things are starting to to percolate and bubble over even in a little a little ways with just how much excitement and hype there is on all of these different products i wanted to so i put together this graphic here that kind of details a little bit cosmic went up for preorder this past week it happened onto on monday i believe and the eql which is great i'm really happy eql is back like let me just say that like don't have to beat the bots anymore but yeah there's not a lot of product that they put behind it so you still have to get really lucky it was up for preorder two twenty nine ninety nine for per box for cosmic i think i think that's a a amazing price given how popular this product is i don't know if you have a reaction just off the top there yeah it came out at an amazing price what people gotta remember you're not gonna be guaranteed to autograph in the box in this it's just how the other cosmics are yep which wrestling collectors prefer that auto obviously you're gonna be chasing some of these case hits some these parallels but at two twenty nine a box we know the market's gonna dictate way more i was unsuccessful again at eql i am batting zero still with eqls but now you have a better shot at royalty i do got a better shot at royalty and i'll continue to battles bat zero come next week so so yeah i i think you know if it were to hold this price which it won't i'm assuming guessing off what we know i'm guessing they're gonna trim between three fifty and four fifty a box in the open market based on how much was readily available we were allocated this week on it got a okay number coming you know so i feel like there's hope when you don't have to do an autograph per box you can build more of a product however i think the checklist should be a lot better when you don't have to go as heavy with some of the lesser names i hope they learned from cactus jack last year not the wrestlemania one the other one to to you know have better autograph checklist to make this more enjoyable for the consumer when they're ripping yeah for sure and i think like cosmic really isn't about the autographs as much and like nope the planetary and all that yeah yeah and so about the case hits and stuff and i think it's super popular for a lot of good reasons but like you know it's supposed to come out so preorder was on monday but it's not coming out until like the beginning of june which is oh my god it's like a a great respite for collectors thank you for at least giving us some time and not putting it out like next week but like you know people are are definitely hurting from chrome because mean you and i both went crazy on it and we're going crazy on royalty we're and and now there's this on top so like collectors are strapped man and like i think this is a popular enough product that to your point like i think wrestling collectors want one autograph per box but at the same time like that's not really what this product is known for similar to prism ish so i mean like it's more about the the planetary pursuits and the different cosmic chrome and stuff like that the parallels the rainbows and stuff but yeah i mean like it's gonna be it's gonna be expensive based on just sort of what we've seen in other sports it's just not gonna be like probably delivering the same amount of content as you would get in like a hobby box of chrome even so i think it's not meant to be that that's not why it was created and that's really not why it exists it's been successful in baseball and basketball and obviously they'll do football license they did nonlicensing but it's baseball's we're originated from it's does perform extremely well heck i just looked at twenty five cosmic girl baseball they're over a thousand dollars a box now and you're not guaranteed autographs so think about that yeah and i and like i've i've had people tell me like that they're super excited for this i've had a lot of you know feedback on the the post that we've made that steve and i have made on main event like yeah i think this is gonna be cool then as if that wasn't enough and i think right now it's it's gonna be delayed so like that's that's good it's sapphire was originally slated for april twenty ninth i think it's now gonna be later in may again thanks for the break that's really good news so we'll skip over that for now because i don't think we have a lot of information to share but it's it's it's definitely coming i think tops made the right call there and then lastly the big dog royalty coming friday may first seven forty nine ninety nine on the eql again there we i i was doing some math i i've i would highly expect very little product to be put behind this eql there's just not a lot of it to go around already and i don't know if that's contrived or not but either way it seems like royalty is in short supply all over the place so the expectation that eql is gonna have a ton of product behind it is is probably a a misconception but seven forty nine ninety nine if you can get a box at this price man consider yourself a lottery winner go buy a few tickets because that's awesome yeah this is gonna be one of those ones where i can already tell you just as the trends have gone on it people can't get their hands on it yeah breakers who did not get any allocated are fighting at the bit to find it i can tell you this that's da uploaded a couple cases this week and it sold out at fifty nine hundred very fast and they have boxes up now higher than that so i believe last time i checked there again at the time of this recording what i'm seeing boxes the only box you can buy right now is over sixteen hundred dollars a box this product was not built for that just know that the market is dictated because the demand is there right now and not enough is out there in the open market let's be honest they can only make so many cases they're four box cases adam and have had lots of talks about this so as much of this product is beautiful and gonna be great just remember if you're ripping this yourself you're ripping at seven fifty that's what it's built for k if you're ripping at fifteen hundred plus it wasn't built that way so you better help you hit one of the one on ones or mania patches or something like that yeah and i think like when you have a super premium product and we've you've you and i have been collectors for you know many decades at this point make us feel old but when exquisite first came out like in two thousand three and two thousand four like this was the same situation i mean the price didn't spike the way that this has but it's like you're not ripping that product with the expectation that you can have a recoup on your money the same way that if you were ripping a box of breakers delight which is generally the same cost at the way that it's structured right now yes because you can buy a box of breakers delight tops chrome for what seven fifty right now and yeah and they're and they're trending down a little bit honestly they're so loaded the only reason why they're trending down is i think everybody's on to royalty right now but i think royalty i i think honestly you need to be really looking at picking up some of these other products that are getting kind of under the radar right now and i'll i'll be happy to touch on that later but yes keep on going yeah yeah yeah so like seven fifty a box for breaker's delight you're ripping three like two three x above where that was built for same now this is but it it's gonna have three autographs it's gonna have a lot of stuff and like i think if you're ripping that versus this i mean like there's so the the experience is so different that i think people are gonna be like oh i want to open this this box and i want it to be treating me like flawless i want the wow experience ornate box encased hits all this other stuff and that's just not what royalty is royalty is more akin to like the old exquisite products the old national treasures football and basketball stuff like that where you have the one pack it's got ten cards and each card is you know that super premium sort of approach with the hollow foil and the thick stock and everything like that's really what royalty is about and i think like from what i've seen i know we've there's there's been some early case breaks i've seen some of the cards already and they look really nice i i i i don't wanna discount that they look very nice but i think if you're ripping this at fifteen sixteen hundred a box because there's just not a lot of it to go around at the moment like i think that's gonna be you're gonna have a lot of cases or boxes even that are kicks in the nuts and that's unfortunate but that's the way high end products usually rip and it was the same with national treasures back in the day was the same with exquisite back in the day like it was the same with five star when that was one of these types of products so i mean like when you're talking about mainstream sports having these super premium products it's it's hit or miss in a lot of ways right yeah and i want people to realize you're gonna be pulling a lot of ivars omas people who recently been released kinda deal i mean because they have to put these other autographs in there the way we're seeing it right now you're getting about a a hit a box maybe some b's and so i depending on how they tier these people out because what we've seen thus far is you're gonna get two numbered cards you get two relics that aren't autographed and then the rest are autos however you may get two solid b autos in a box b you may just get one really good a and maybe dock down to a c again that's talking outside of a one zero one or a potential mania patch auto so what adam's getting at is that these were built to be differently than what they are the the cards look beautiful and adam is correct they they look beautiful from what we've seen thus far we're super excited for this product but i think the expectations are up here for what the market is saying it is and i think they need to be in here to understand what you're about to get so joining breaks is one different thing doing that is obviously you're buying in as a wrestler or however you're buying into a break there are gonna be a ton of skunks there's a lot of spots being sold i like how some people are doing like dual case breaks quads they're doing mixers of two royalty two chrome hobby two chrome delight this and that like layton sports cards has done a great job with you know i i think that's the way to go with this because it takes the stunk factor out of it and takes the perception of holy crap i just bought this value and again adam and i are gonna be we're gonna get our balls kicked in let's be honest at this point having a conversation with adam and we've been i'm trying to track it jamison's made a spreadsheet i need to do that right now but i'm i'm in over sixty breaks with randy orton right now you're pretty similar with becky yep excuse me apologies you know and you know we're chasing obviously that one card where adam wants to get one of everything he can i wanna get as many orders as i can to build that but we're obviously buying this to get in and here's the deal the lack thereof of this product out there i question are these prices that we're paying right now are they only gonna go up because if if tops doesn't make this available readily in a wave two two breakers and ie shops which let's be honest most shops got zero one case i've talked about this you know who knows what this market's gonna dictate and how this is gonna go so if you're ripping this from a personal standpoint please have a mindset to know what you're getting outside of big card yeah and i i i think we'll we'll go into this much more in-depth next week when we have a better sense of of how things have played out yes i know i am on the hunt for the for as many of the becky lynch cards as i can find obviously i mean like that that shouldn't be an ex that shouldn't be a shock i've i'm shocked i no shock and and we we've joined a lot of breaks because we're excited like we're excited for every wrestling product like let's be honest here but i think like royalty speaks to a certain target market and and i'm definitely part of it like if you can see on the shelf behind me if you're watching on patreon like i have an entire shelf dedicated to immaculate which is a very similar type of presentation in the card with the hollow foil and the white and everything like that mhmm but it's like so like as far as i've been a collector like these types of products speak to the greater mainstream sports as well so you're gonna have a lot of people coming in who wanna be a part of a high end rip and and they're gonna buy in and gamble on slots and and that's awesome because we'll get a ton of exposure for wrestling cards across the space more hopefully like some of these people see the community and how awesome we are at being passionate about wrestling cards they stick around like that would be great because the more the merrier in a lot of these things and if you're coming to our our party at the national where we're celebrating the community like that's really the whole goal is to have as many people there as possible and you can't do that if you don't have this visibility and fanatics has done a tremendous job marketing everything and and and doing such a good job on social media for wrestling better than i've ever seen and i think that's really what we're saying so i think we we we are well ahead of the storm here like we're gonna have a ton of to talk about next week it'll be wall to wall royalty i would guess and but you know for now like we're just excited we're we're ready for the breaks and i think they're happening very shortly and we're gonna see some of those early cases i've i've seen that they have the the language on the back of the cards that says where the the relics are from like all the stuff that collectors really gravitate towards on the event you stuff and everything that's what this product is about and i think it's gonna be fun to see how the market reacts what if they took a step above that remember the old school football products where they basically would put the jersey actually show the item and then dude come on if they would've just not not all these royalty cards are gonna have that but some are i think i've seen one there's a lid that's like a royal rumble it says what it's from it's her royal rumble gear man just to throw a picture on there and do that i go that's added to them but that's what made cards great back twenty five years ago when memorabilia stood out and i've got a babe ruth cut in my collection the action on the back of it shows the document that they cut it out of like to it gets you even closer to the item to what you're owning so i love the fact that they got that maybe that's a stepping stone maybe adam and i could maybe poke a couple couple things around the top of his head and exactly the the gears are turning so yeah we're super excited we are locked in on this product we're gonna have a lot be watching breaks from literally sunup to hopefully past sundown i told my wife it's going on the tv tomorrow night with the boy we're gonna watch some breaks so yeah awesome let's just do a quick run through of some some post wrestlemania buy sell and hold and the reason i wanted to do this is because when we were talking with brett last week on the podcast there were a lot of people that we're seeing and we talked about earlier in this podcast as well like all the call ups all the young stars what makes these people so collectible and i think that for a lot of these these people there's there's gonna be peep like a a mix of collectors investors and flippers that all wanna get involved so we wanted to take kind of an approach of like hey post wrestlemania post call up like are you a buyer are you a seller are you just kinda waiting to see what happens on some of these people some of them will be easy some of them not as much k but i think it's something that we can at least give our takes on it and then hopefully as people listen to the podcast they can they can weigh in as well like these are the the top names and a lot of them are women believe it or not so like that's really cool too so i'm just curious like how closely collectors and noncollectors of these specific women and and men the superstars that we're covering are gonna follow these stories like this is what drives the prospecting side of our market but it's also for a lot of these these are established champions now so we'll have to see but i wanna get into it so ryan are you ready to play play this little game here fire away alright so the way i'm gonna do it is we're gonna cover this as if with the most commonly available valuable card that exists for each player each wrestler so like you have the prism silver in a psa ten i think is a readily available card with a lot of sales that happen and i don't wanna comment specifically on the prism sale i'm just gonna use that as the benchmark i'm more looking at this from a holistic perspective of like is this person buy sell or hold okay yep so we're gonna start with the ruler obafemi the the the the biggest story in in wrestling cards right now back in august of twenty twenty five you could buy his prism silver and a psa ten for twenty six dollars now as of april of twenty twenty six or may when this airs it's about a hundred and fifteen dollars or an increase of about three hundred forty two percent that three hundred forty two percent is a lot so are you a buy are you a hold are you a sell on hope of fammy in in general buy at this point i mean they're they're putting a rocket on this guy's back and he's gonna carry it he's gonna carry it for a long time i i mean i think we're on a collision course with him and roman i hope that they build this up right and let it get good story i know we gotta we gotta you know his sense of it at wrestlemania the post conference a little poke of each i love it start there let them both go on their journeys and then let the collision happen i'm a buyer i mean i think you agree with me on this one yeah not much to add there this is a buy for me yeah i think i think overall obafemi is about as as as made for summerslam as as possible i was talking with brian thc who was on our podcast earlier and he said don't look at the night of champions poster it's a bit of a spoiler but i i'm i i did anyways and it's i think we're heading that direction alright let's let's move on to the next one speaking of brian sol rooka her psa ten prism silver in december of twenty twenty four this is her rookie in twenty twenty three prism thirty six dollars in a psa ten now according to card letter in april twenty twenty six it's a hundred and fifty five dollars so another rocket jump for but a change of three hundred and thirty percent curious what your thoughts are here as nsync said it best buy buy buy buy buy i'm all on her i mean i think she is just she's the next big thing in my opinion for years to come i'm i'm hooked on her i've been i i should have been buying her sooner when i watched her when she i sold a soul snatcher what that was an rko flip off the ropes i should have just been into her then but i've been buying some of her stuff as well and i continue to plan to buy some not gonna go on the level of brian thc with the one on ones but just obtaining as many quality cards as i can i just if you believe in her believe that wwe's gonna do to her they already gave her a match with liv morgan out of the bat just first sign on out of the gate raw debut yeah that just shows you that their faith in her is is very very high so take that for consideration yeah i'm i i i mean it's hard not to be a buy these are the two easy ones think you know overall she's she's about as great as it gets from a skill set perspective she's already made leaps and bounds but i mean like there's been a lot of nxt collectors out there like a lot of nxt collectors and they they have really been in on people like sol rooka people like obafemi people like trick williams and even stephanie vicair before that so i think like as we get into some of these discussions like i wanna call out those collectors for being ahead of the curve like they saw the writing on the wall and collectors love seeing wrestlers who have the complete package right they can wrestle they can talk they can have a good character like that's what collectors really gravitate towards not even investors we're talking ors and like so people will target the ones that get the most focus in that respect i think solrk is about as easy as it gets little bit more difficult one here bron breakker back in twenty twenty four his twenty twenty two prism silver sold for about sixty nine dollars now it's up to about a hundred dollars in april twenty twenty six it's a change of about forty four percent so not as much of a change as some of the others what is your thought process on bron breakker i already know what brett is saying as he's listening to this he is not a fan but for us too i bought a few bronze cards i'm curious what what your thoughts are yeah i'm i'm gonna hold on him right now i think i'm curious to see what happens with the injury that kinda set things back changed up i mean the whole vision's been a nightmare from where i think it was supposed to go but at this point the kids were all he's got all the talent and i'm a hold on him right now i'm not i'm not a seller i've been picking him up and throwing him back for the national i'll probably make him available then but just put me on hold on him i think if you are a collector specifically this is a hold if you are a flipper or an investor i think it's probably closer to sell but he's come back he's back in it but i think now he's like he was when seth rollins was the champion like he was much closer to the title picture i think he's now a few steps removed after the injury so i'm i'm i think this is more of a long term hold i think wrestlemania what forty six or whatever it's gonna be he's probably one of the main event winners of time one of those nights but i don't know if a lot of people are waiting along that waiting around that long but collectors in wrestling they they will stick around so if you're a bron breakker fan and i am this is probably a hold i've got a few of his nice cards i i just got one from bless that i had shipped that i think is is a really good one and you know his rookie stuff is is not expensive if you find the right the right sales so i'm not i'm i'm a hold shout out timmy tims on that one that's his guy he's a big breaker collector so shout him out yeah he's a good he's got a an in ridiculous collection yes he does onto stephanie vacair another really big name that's come up in the hobby she was obafemi last year and before that it was tiffany stratton who we'll talk about here in a second i don't have a prism for her because she wasn't in the set she never had prism cards so her select ringside psa ten generally the same availability in april of twenty twenty five was a hundred and seventy dollars in a psa ten it's now two hundred and sixty five dollars as of today so a change of you know about fifty five percent are you a buy sell or hold on stephanie vittier at this point you gotta be a seller on it i think that she's getting more cards readily available i i do think stephanie vaccarre is the complete package i just think she's gonna be out of the storyline for a while there's rumors she's heard and you know she's kinda peaked out for now but you know i think they view her in the ria ripley esque level for long term stability in the company how she carries herself how incredible she is as a wrestler but right now i think you have to be a seller and then you could go back a little later and start buying up some more stuff if it's a rare like really good rare inscription one on ones or stuff like that that's a little different but for the standard you need to be a seller yeah i think i think i agree a hundred percent the the only piece of feedback i have here is stephanie vecare as a rookie was only in like three or four sets photo i think i don't even think she was in photo yet flawless select three count select national treasures you know whatever flawless yep yep so i mean like she doesn't have a lot of rookie cards and she has zero rookie autograph cards which is is even more problematic so i think a lot of her price was dictated by scarcity and now that's generally fixed so i i'm a sell short term on her just because like you said she's she lost a title that's always gonna take a dip she's injured potentially for a little bit she has a sprained shoulder or something like that so she'll be off for a month or two and recuperate but they she's young she's a tremendous wrestler my only thing is she she struggles with promos just like julia does because english isn't their first language and that's fine because they make up for it and then some with every other aspect of their characters but in wwe that's a major part of it right yeah absolutely spot on and i think that's good the only thing really holding her back and that's just language barrier that's all that is yeah it's not her fault it's just insane and we'll move on to julia because she i had her next same thing no prisms cards for julia but her cards are even so stephanie is up julia is even she's a hundred dollars for her ringside and a and a psa ten across the board and yeah i think like i i think she was potentially on the chopping block as part of these recent releases i i think i'm probably a sell on julia as of right now even though her stuff is even like there's not a lot here that gives me a lot of confidence that wwe is gonna continue to go back to that well yeah a hundred percent sell on her i'm gonna agree with adam completely and i think it's just wwe does not know what to do with her she is unfortunately even worse on the mic than stephanie vakir and i think that goes against her she's very talented at one point her and vakir were on the same level of who's it gonna be who's gonna go up and become a world champion and they split them off and julia just dropped the belts to your girl tiffany stratton last week i think we're gonna see a breakup between her and keana james her name was rumored in the releases last week i'm glad she did it i think she deserves a biting chance because she is extremely talented so but yes i think you sell and i don't know when we're gonna see her back in the picture but you never know sometimes they do this to pivot and they have a long term storyline with her to maybe win like rumble or something you just don't know where they're gonna go but heck most times i don't think they know where we're gonna go until the week of yeah i'm i'm not a keanu james fan i think it's held her down i think making julia more of a character where her wrestling can shine is tough in wwe yep and man she can work like a maniac like i love watching her matches she's so good in the ring same with vicar like they're both the same type of wrestler they just had different circumstances because naomi was pregnant and they needed a champion and decided to take a flyer and i think vicair greatly benefited from that last one we'll cover here i think and tiffany stratton is one of my favorites because she's from minnesota so i'm a homer she's from right down the road from where i live and back in july of twenty twenty five her prism silver psa from twenty twenty two was at eighty dollars it's now at a hundred and seventy five dollars so it's bounced back because it was low for a while she's had a change of about a hundred and eighteen percent i'm curious what your thoughts are here yeah i think she's a hold now i mean anything tiffany's credit i'm getting right now i'm holding for the nationals so i took a lot of consideration like names you said like these are people i'm holding people i'm gonna sell to nashville people i'm not like i just priced them to cure universal auto yesterday to put out in the shop because i just feel like hey i need to move all this tiffany's one like she's in that limbo to where like you depending on which collector you're grabbing her rare stuff buy it buy it her main stuff autograph stuff you can hold and then you wanna sell some merch so she's kind of in between but i think if i'm just gonna send her i'm just gonna go with the whole i i think i'm a little bit of a buy on this i think a lot of her stuff has come down since the major like stone cold steve austin level hype of twenty twenty four no that's what her she was at the same price hype but that's i mean that's no price wise i'm not saying in terms okay okay was like i'm like how are you specifying this stuff yeah no i i know you love becky and tiffy i i gotta keep our listeners here understanding what's going on here so the from a pricing perspective her cards her autograph cards in stone cold steve austin's yes were were the same price out of elite when she had her first autographs she was the same price as she got into some of the later products as stone cold steve austin which is why i thought it was so funny okay no she's not at stone cold steve austin levels like i've never meant that but what what i do think is that she's young she's very young just like a lot of the people we're talking about she is insanely athletic and wwe seems to have a lot of confidence in her ability to build her character so i'm i'm i'm trending by but again i'm a homer so take this as you will but i i definitely have a few cards of hers that i've stashed away just because again i i like what she is i i think she's a great wrestler and i i i like watching her matches so why not hold a few of them they're they're not crazy expensive she was scorching hot at the national last year she was scorching you couldn't keep tiffany i sold stephanie a very awesome flawless patch auto last year you know tiffany you couldn't keep tiffany leading up to national last year was just on fire everybody wanted tiffany yep alright let's move on to some sales here great a great chat here back and forth for the collectors on a lot of these these young stars again most of them are women because like wwe tends to trend female with collect ors who want to you know engage in that part of the hobby i think for me like i i i collect a few people right like i i don't collect collect anybody besides becky but i have cards of roman i have cards of rhea i have cards of tiffany like a lot of these people are now very established i mean tiffany won a championship match against charlotte flair at wrestlemania so like i think we're getting past the point on some of these guys where they're considered quote unquote prospects but i think it was just cool to have a discussion of like hey where are we seeing some of the trends sort of shake out and speaking of rhea ripley some of these sales have been absolutely through the roof i wanna i wanna get one thing out that we just talked about before we dive into this real quick and just giving some advice to our listeners and to card prospectors yeah just because all these call ups come up from nxt that are now in the main roster we're seeing call ups to nxt now and people coming on this is an opportunity for you to go watch nxt i love the brand i went to stand deliver i follow on nxt that is your opportunity and your step ahead to see the next people because some of these people will be in nxt for six months a year two three years if you're jay z jane you're almost a lifer until now but that is your opportunity to watch and see some of these people then once they get cards you will know like hey if i wanna collect that person just put that in consideration when prospecting the prospecting really needs to start at nxt or other brands other levels and then when they get to the main the main roster they've already built it up you're probably buying some of these people for five ten bucks i remember tony d'angelo was five bucks now they're probably thirty because he's nxt champion you know so put that in consideration we give you this advice be a step ahead because that is your best place to watch it in my opinion yeah by the time we're having this conversation on the podcast it's well past the the early adopter stage i mean look at look at kendall gray look at all the stuff that we've talked about for her like she's now very much the darling of royalty she's the darling of logo for actor like everybody wanted her cards but there's new people like lizzie lizzie rain is that her name lizzie rain yeah she just got called up this just debuted yeah like there's a bunch of they're gonna call them something different but like all of these new talent really does inspire collectors because they see them on tv they're like oh that's awesome and if you see kendall gray like you you understand why people are buying her cards it like like they're going out of style she's kinda like how katana chance was katana chance is half her size she was so tiny i think that's when it gets her tiny yeah but kendra gray is much bigger and and just i mean she's got it all the only thing i'll say about kendra gray is her cards are so scorching high and hot right now i don't know you might wanna wait till she gets more stuff to really go in on her so yeah for sure it's it's the same situation as vicair very limited correct so let's talk about rhea ripley sales here on she there were two major private sales congrats to steve on one of them the the flawless logo diamond one of one so this is the wwe logo diamond rhea ripley from flawless sold for eleven thousand dollars it was a private sale these are the premier cards out of flawless i know we're still waiting on the roman reigns and a few others but like if if you're looking for the top cards in flawless it's hard to argue that these are are that card and this is a giant number yeah these are again ria is the best in the world when it comes to a woman's wrestler i i'm gonna stand by that i think a lot of people agree i agree she's the most wanted collectible she's the most it's crazy we live in a different time twenty years ago somebody that looks like her probably would not be pushed at all but she has just got the it factor she has it all congrats to our great friend steve same wwe that is a beautiful card it was sold by was it tsc brian that helped out yeah so the second one is yeah the second one is the superfractor autograph from logofractor exclusive photo awesome photo probably one of the better ria photos of the of the year in topps chrome steve was able to pick that up from brian who pulled who somebody pulled it at wrestlemania brian on behalf of steve completed that sale and then sold it to steve to make sure he got it for his pc that's the community at work gotta love that a huge shout out mouth man you literally took the words out of my mouth yeah it's it was a great great scenario both people were happy both people got what they needed and brian hooked hooked me up with some stuff from wrestlemania too think we talked about last week so like that's what our community is all about and this is a great i mean like awesome card on card great photo from wrestlemania it looks like yep and it's sold for ten thousand dollars to steve good job so i think like yeah this is ria's ria's it man she she is and again both crazy sales but both ideally makes sense considering what some of the bounties were for some of the inscription autos out there i mean this again photo everything about this card looks like the flawless like we alluded to she doesn't have a logo on this is the one you probably wanna get so and again it's flawless diamonds it's long term and it's a one year deal done so i get these prices and it makes sense to me knowing the collector's out there for it yep i'm gonna we're gonna quickly fire rapid fire through some of these other ones but this one i wanted to call out this is the chelsea green garbage pail kids superfractor at seven thousand dollars sold via best offer on ebay a couple a week after release or whatever but matt cardona has posted quite a bit about the garbage pail kids cards for chelsea green he bought the original painting i know you and i also did that for our wrestlers thanks to david gross on that thank you and you know these these are premier cards now like i think everybody through baseball and through the different and they're gonna do they did them in bowman basketball as well they're doing them i i'm sure in every sport that they cover because they're so popular garbage pail kids for the people that are our age and have money like these are what drove us as kids like we we rode our bikes to you know walgreens or whatever and bought a pack of stickers and now we're we're getting all of these trading cards updated with wrestlers they did some in twenty nineteen they did some in twenty twenty one transcendent with the sketches i know kevin has kevin from new york roadshow has a ton of them he's a big gpk fan they've been doing sets all through just non sport as a gpk brand with not tied to anything now they're bringing it to the sports which i think is awesome cardona being you know chelsea's husband loves these cards i i don't know if he bought this one specifically but it's likely i think right i'm i'm hearing rummings said he did but i'm also hearing he did i don't really know we i haven't seen a surface yet so i'm sure if he posts everything on twitter or x whatever you wanna call it these days i'm sure if he does all this and it's probably going through the whole ebay authentication process still that it will surface on him showing that he got it because i'm sure he'll be one to wanna make everybody know he is his car now yeah the sol rooka logo fractor super that's really a mouthful this logo fractor one zero one autograph for sol rooka great photo on this again sold for five thousand dollars via best offer on ebay a couple days after wrestlemania and you know again solruka hot new thing because she's just called up had a great match great debut obviously a ton of collectors out there want her stuff but you know these logo fractor one zero ones are are huge and i did see that speaking of huge cards i did see that my friend chris pulled the kendall gray inscription one of twenty five which is a giant card too i can't wait for him to get that back from grading he said he's not selling it so like like these these logofractor like it's quickly becoming representative that hey logofractor did everything it was supposed to do yeah and now boxes are turning over three hundred dollars a box when they were a hundred dollars at mania i looked this morning we sold a couple last night for two ninety five again i can't replace these when they're gone i was lucky to get a case from topps directly at a higher price but i'm a tell you right now we had to reprice them higher because i look i think even on ebay i think like three fifty maybe the cheapest you can buy right now and this is wow when we're recording these are gonna keep going up because there's not so much out there and they're drying up and we've seen what's coming out of them slab squatcher the guy who does all the product breakdowns said there were about five hundred and fifty five excuse me five hundred and fifty five cases that is not a lot that's not man i i wish i would've kept kept the case sealed but i've had some great pulls by customers so speaking of logo fracture the oscar look that auto that's pretty cool i know it's so cool the autograph super fracture with the exclusive photo from logo fracture and the inscription in kanji sold for forty seven fifty i think this might be one of the highest oscar sales ever and rightfully so amazing photo on this card great looking card overall so i can't really argue again so like we've seen now dominic mysterio sell for like six thousand solruca sell five thousand oska sell close to five thousand with tax like man what a card yeah these are beautiful man the way they pop the imaging the border everything looks great just to continue down our path with logofractor now the stephanie vicair one of one rose gold so this is they didn't do the base super fractures for the base cards they only did those for the autographs i believe and the rose gold one of ones is the way that logofractor has their one of ones and the stephanie vacair sold for four thousand one hundred and eleven dollars huge sale huge she just doesn't have a lot right now and i that gets behind it too so i could see that so i wanna just cover a couple of things here from chrome as well the rock had a red garbage pail kids card sell for twenty one seventy five via auction i i think these cards have trended pretty steady since release and i think like as these dry up and get launched into pcs and locked down like i think these are only gonna go higher yeah i i think at this point you know the garbage pile i think it's one of those things where you know so much had surfaced in the first couple weeks because of brakes and people ripping and you're seeing but there's not a ton out there even the base ones there's not a significant amount and i think what we're gonna see is a trend to where it's gonna do this and then it's gonna do this because it's gonna stop getting ripped everybody's gonna move on to bigger better things i stand by top scrum this year is steroid it out it's loaded long term hold amazing rip so i think these garbage pail kids are gonna continue to catch fire the number ones and the non number ones i think they're long term holds i think people wanna build the set as far as the the you know the base ones go not the number but i i at first i'm not like a huge garbage pail guy i grew up in the eighties so i'm very familiar with garbage pail kids not like huge but the more you see these and more like okay those are unique my kids are like oh garbage pail they they see them they know so it's cool yeah i think when flawless came out and you had stone cold and centimeters punk and hulk hogan and the undertaker and and cena in like every case those cards tanked because there were so many of them out there yep now when people list the rare ones at least they're starting just to really climb higher and higher and higher and i think these garbage pail kids are gonna have that same level of desirability if they keep driving the price of of or they keep driving the set into other sports other because people are gonna come across from football they're gonna come across from basketball and baseball i think these will be major crossovers okay i wanna close with a title match topic and like now that wrestlemania is over we we're we're through playoff football here we're we're through the world series we're through the super bowl and we are on the verge of like this tidal wave of wwe products we have you know we had exalted we had chrome we had universe we have royalty coming we had all this other stuff there's sapphire and stadium club like how will this impact in your opinion the way collectors engage with wrestling cards do you think that this is gonna be something that can be supported by the community and and the amount of people and and individuals involved in our market or is this gonna be a a challenge do you think i think it's a little bit of both and i think that if you are an active wrestling collector wrestling rippler you're gonna rip it all the time it's the matter of use we see a trend as a hobby shop when there is a ple especially many but outside that just a ple in general the saturday of or if we notice raw or smackdown comes to town we notice an uptick in sales and product in our shop we are known for wrestling so we do sell wrestling quite a bit however it really hinders around storyline it hinders around ples what's going on in the area you know online as well i think i think what we're seeing right now is we've gotten too many releases too close together luckily we're getting a little bit of a break after royalty but we went from like you said we went from universe exalted chrome chrome logo fractor and then now we've got royalty but we get a break from cosmic and sapphire it sounds like we don't know when we're getting stadium club so i think taking a break right now is not a bad thing i think let's give some of these other products a chance to breathe and do something and let collectors rip it because let's be honest universe and and exalted are kinda falling under the radar and they're dropping because everybody's on the next thing but they're becoming really good rips at price points so put that into consideration but i think wrestling as wrestling cards go there's more challenges when you're after mania i will say i think the hype will stay pretty strong through summerslam and not as strong as leading up to a wrestlemania but i think as long as the storylines are good you will see wrestling cards being sold we sell them on the website we sell them in store and obviously not just us people in general but i think that there are challenges there and i think it depends on the time of year luckily we're less than a hundred days away from the national which i'm a tell you right now that's our biggest week of the year for selling everything but especially wrestling cards rightfully so the hype is still there at the national because also oe oh summerslam's the same weekend as the dang national so so put that in perspective but i that would be my take on it and i think there are challenges there and the thing is you're not gonna see as much advertisement now from tops when we're past the media flow where royalty was a big one for them to promote obviously chrome was a big one to the promote so yeah i mean that's kinda where my stance is on it yeah i i can't disagree with you on any of that as normal but i think like the national you mentioned that like there's still a lot of people like i think you're gonna see the card market dip as people start to save for the national and like you you see like a like a a decline and then a huge ramp up but i think like you you nailed it i think like collectors in wrestling cards are accustomed to having access to the cards that they want and they have they have money that they can put into those things and it's not depending on who you collect it's it's usually not like prohibitive the way that it has been in some of these recent products with chrome and royalty but i i have to believe like i've seen people say okay i'm gonna skip this product i'm gonna skip this i'm gonna skip that i did that with exalted i just couldn't fit it into my budget and i'm not i'm not horribly disappointed with that and if if things happen in royalty where you know i don't get the cards that i'm looking for i don't get the wrestlemania patch or i don't get you know the one on ones it's it's it may just be too expensive but you know i'm very patient and and i think that when it comes to once i know the card is out there and once i know that it's out there in the hands of somebody that you know will will take care of it and do it and i can buy later like fine but i think it's something where overall like there's gonna be stuff i have to skip like it's just it's i can't continue to expect that i'll get everything and i got a a message in my dms and said you know the guy was so nice like he was saying like hey i just pulled this super fracture it was the eras of excellence one just wanted to let you know i'm gonna i'm gonna get it in hand i'm gonna price it and then we can talk and it doesn't have to be this and but i respect your collection and i wanted make sure you had first shot at it like those are the types of people that are all over wrestling cards i love it and you know i appreciate that and i think that when we get to these types of situations where you can't have everything having those relationships and having those collection sort of connection points will will only enhance your like don't collect on an island that's why ryan and i talk all the time that's why we talk with jameson and kevin and all the people steve you name it and like thank you to all the community as well for like i think as the royalty breaks were going up like got a ton of messages hey this one just dropped zeppey thank you like all of those guys like they they cheer each other on and we're in this in a team game because it's like we're we're so passionate about this space but i think they also everybody's starting to recognize like things are changing and and things are really getting overheated but also for good reason because look at collectibles in general like every sports card is up yeah it's getting more people into this space than we've ever seen before we're bringing new eyes in here that a lot of them have money and they're coming in from other places and and depending on how you get into a break or how you rip or collect i mean it's it's gonna change but i think it's gonna change for the for the good i try to see the positive and everything i try to focus on positives and negatives i do too and and again you know what adam and i say is like well whenever we have to pay more for the next one zero one we just know it's helping and making our collection worth more now than what we paid for you know you can't live in the past can't dwell in the past and trust me it is hard for both of us to sit there and pay some of the numbers we pay to get our wrestler or who we wanna collect because we're like well a year ago i paid this and that's a better card why am i paying this right but it comes down to the collector and again to go with adam what he said the rest of the card community is the best out there it is the best there is the best there was and best there ever will be i have done it all adam's done it all i run a shop i i've collected everything under the sun from kenny lofton to sean king to lebron james yeah look at those names two non sports i collect in my family you know i i love collecting but there's just no other community like it they we look out for one another probably easier if we just started a big text there when all these breaks hit versus right each one of us texting each other and looking out but again i'm putting best like you know i've had text from jameson from adam from kevin from such and such i'm texting people hey this breaker's got a good price on this break and then they're sent to me and i'm like well thanks man randy was already gone but they're just like trying to be quick you know like i'm doing the same thing where the other day i was like oh i'm into another break well he's like well who did you get i was like this person he's like why didn't you tell me i'm like because becky was already bought i didn't yeah yeah yeah see the point of telling you and then he went in and looked he's like damn it you're right becky was gone you know so again i i love this community i'm so excited for you know for the national i'm excited for wrestling card takeover guys this is gonna be in my opinion the big payoff to spin yeah that night that week but especially that night with the community that's one to travel to the national and be there we're honored and excited to to put that on and we're gonna continue to talk about that but i think that's the big payoff because for those of you listening to us week after week and and i hope you enjoy listening to us we wanna talk to you we wanna get we wanna hear from you we wanna hear your thoughts and that's why we bring guests on here because we don't wanna just make it about him and i we wanna get everybody we can the best we can in the community who are some of the best people in the community and we're passionate about it and i hope you can hear that in my voice and his voice adam puts in so many hours every day on top of having a career having four kids having a wife having to drive his kid to here and his kid to there i mean this man i i've told the guys at lunch i go i'm convinced adam just doesn't sleep okay so so adam thank you for all the hard work you put in every week to make this show happen i can't thank you enough man no that thank you for that ryan i i think like we're gonna do wrestling card takeover this summer we're gonna do i i think fanatics fest is gonna be awesome the national's gonna be awesome summerslam's gonna be awesome and then we're just gonna roll into like the the back half of the year with dynasty and all these other things and like it's not the train is not coming off the tracks as far as i can see anytime soon but yeah i mean like surround like if you're a collector and you're and to ryan's point like if you're a collector and you're not in with you know a group of people that look out for each other like find that group of people find your kindred spirits find those individuals that you can rely on because it's really hard to exist in this hobby by yourself and i think it just breeds like depression and it breeds like all the grind feels that much harder and i've been there i've been in this hobby alone and it and i know how that feels mentally and i i think having the the type of support that this community has provided for me and for ryan and yeah we catch a lot of hate because you know we have such big collections and we tend to monopolize markets but it's like we do we we do that and help others achieve their goal as well i think that's a key part of this too so i think like when you're looking at individuals that we've mentioned on this podcast a number of times like those are the types of people that speak to us and and and acknowledge that hey i i wanna get to a level where where these things can be great and i i saw a story on instagram where somebody was like well how do i get to be one of these guys how do i get to be and it's like the the work that you put in measures out in what your your output is like either what you put in is what you get out and i think like not everybody has the time and energy or even the resources to do that sometimes but man this community will help you any way you can and you know even if it's in competing interests like i've i've often talked about on other podcasts like there was a when there were three becky collectors all of us competing like we talked all the time because as much as i want all the cards like i i can recognize i don't have money that grows on trees and you know there's gonna be times where i miss out and that's fine like i've come to terms with a lot of different things in that respect so great great talk here today about sort of the importance of of how the community can help collectors but also just planning out what the next few months are gonna look like i think your engagement is gonna change both of us and others who are probably on a different level are are running into the same roadblocks right yep well said man just to close
