it's episode fifteen yes it is happy wrestlemania week i'm excited i'm fired up but adam how we doing doing great this is i don't celebrate many religious holidays but this this is one of them this i'll i'll give you that yes it is it's this is this week is you know it's funny because we knew that coming into last year topps was going to not go backwards on wrestlemania they were gonna go forwards i don't think we expected them to go like this fast this quickly this many products but it's been an absolute blast i'm so excited happy to be here hopefully you've had a good start to the week as well it's been it's been going i've been a runner my head cut off but i'll i'll survive i got big plans this weekend obviously but yeah so speaking of tops they didn't just take steps ahead they took massive jumps bounds yeah leaps and bounds whatever you wanna call it what a release so i'm sure we're gonna dive into it but here we are i haven't had a break in two days let's do this understood i just wanna make sure that we are good and let's get moving here what is going on i clicked the wrong button so can't take this out start with the opening pyro and we didn't have a lot of time last week to talk about you know really what was going on and now we do let's let's dive into wrestlemania i think we are you know quickly getting a a a viewpoint into like what wwe is planning on doing but i think let's let's just start sort of at the top like what is your feeling coming so as people are gonna be listening to this it will be saturday wrestlemania night one very few hours away for most of you who are listening to this podcast you're following along on patreon it's gonna be tomorrow what is your like sort of temperature coming into wrestlemania here it's heating up for sure i mean it's i i would say obviously there's been better storylines in the past but i think it's shaping out to be a good mania more shocked that some names like tiffany stratton are not in mania that is the biggest what's going on who did she piss off because she wants to get act acting i i don't know i i'm more shocked about that situation how eoskai has been left off the card how she's getting buried right now again from kari saying it's like i i'm sure she's gonna have something to do with the real match to get in but to me that's just weird but the matches that they are showing the ones that you've got labeled here are gonna be awesome are gonna be excited however they did drop the ball with your girl becky and aj they shouldn't not i don't know what happened match at at why am i drawing a blank right now yeah elimination chamber elimination chamber so i'm already into mania mode so i'm excited because of one particular match which by the way you epicly failed it says randy versus drew come on adam oh my god i'm sorry yep that was randy versus cody i was i was in i was in mode well i think everybody thought it was gonna be randy versus drew but yes i'm the most excited that's why i'm hopping on a plane gonna stress myself out with my wife and three kids however i'm taking neil and i'm gonna be there to hopefully watch randy orton get number fifteen that is the main reason why we are making this trip but also to attend our first ever wrestlemania so what are your thoughts on everything i you know i i so coming out of raw on monday like first of all like i i'm very like i'm always excited for wrestlemania it's always more about the event than the matches and at this point in wwe's existence and like they could literally just plan it a week before and i think people would show up not as many people but a lot of people and that's that's what i i like i enjoy the spectacle of wrestlemania more than anything i've just like i i've gotten to a point now where there's not much you can do in a match that's gonna like make me go oh my god but like you know i i love the big the pageantry of this event and i love the way that this is sort of being sort of heralded as like this mega event that's that's now two nights long but you know at the same time like you gotta sell me on some of these matches oba and brock lesnar yeah i'm sold i would i would fly across the country to see that match but for every other match on this entire pay per view like it just feels like another wrestlemania that's good and bad i mean like i really like what punk and roman have done like that's cool i like what randy and cody have done before pat mcafee got involved and to a degree after like it's it's interesting but it's not like what we had coming into wrestlemania forty i think that was a generational wrestlemania i think that was something that a lot of people look to in figuring out hey when we are when we're building out the the best of the best like wrestlemania forty was about as good as it gets and it's gonna be really difficult to to reclaim that it's gonna be really difficult to find that again but you know it is what it is i thought it was a huge mistake not to have becky and aj on the program they did like that video package but where the where the hell were they like where has aj been where has becky been like this is the the wrestlemania women's match that i think had probably the most long term build but you know i love what they did with liv and vicar i love what they're doing with oba and brock as i mentioned even the demon bringing back the demon for dominik mysterio where was that yet on monday like a lot of this stuff like they have the space on the program to tell those stories and i i just don't know what what they were missing but you know i it's my temperature is high because it's wrestlemania but i think it's something that yeah they've dropped the ball on a lot of this and i think it's just because they were scrambling because of injuries and they're scrambling because they didn't know what they were doing it's the way it goes yeah i i think out of every match here outside of the you know the championship match i think there's nothing built up as more as oba and brock right now i think everybody and their mother is like i've gotta watch this match this is gonna be awesome it's gonna be on espn it's gonna be on espn yes audience yes and i think i i just don't see how you have oba lose this match i i don't know is this gonna be a quick oba whoops up on brock and it's over is this gonna be ten minute match i don't know you know i'm kinda figuring it out i wanna say oba's gonna leave this the champ i mean they the promo he cut last night on heyman was epic awesome it's you could see this guy has it all he has everything now all of sudden one day he's just gonna have stop having the accent like kofi kingston did or something like that no i think that's the way i i don't think that's a i don't think don't think blue is making a joke that like the triple a shake and wait yeah didn't use to talk to me yeah was a great segment so i'm excited outside of the randy cody match i i oba brock lesnar match wow i'm so pumped about it yeah we we know roman punk's gonna be a good match we know what to expect but we know that this oba brock match could have may easily may have vented one of the nights and and no knocking at the champions but i think everything this is the most built up match even though we've been seeing the promo cut between roman and punk another good one last night interesting one to to end on going into mania but i'm excited overall just to be there to experience it and experience my family and and obviously this is probably ideally randy orton's last ever main event at wrestlemania i gotta think so saying that i was there hopefully you know that he gets fifteen i may have to stop watching wrestling if he doesn't get fifteen i'm over cody rhodes i will officially be a cody rhodes hater but i i just don't see how he loses this match i hope it's a great match i hope mcafee and jelly roll don't take from what this match could be the history between those two so again i i mean obviously there's other matches here to talk about but me being a homer on randy and the reason why i'm going there i'm i'm just thoroughly excited and and still turned to neil today like ten minutes ago fragging i was like i don't does it feel like we're going to maine he's like no i'm like no i'm just in work right now it doesn't feel like i'm leaving in i'm flying out in two days so so let let's just like in terms of best outcomes for wrestling cards and the hobby and the the stuff that we need to see i think the winners that that absolutely need to happen obafemi needs to win his cards are literally white hot right now i would like to see rhea ripley beat jay cargill i think she is one of the most valuable superstars you can collect sorry steve and like i think it it it's a like i don't think if vaqair wins versus liv i think that's good for her cards if liv wins i i think it's good for her cards like i think in terms of like the the main matches that are driving sort of the the people that are still in the forefront of their career rather than the back end of it like i i think it doesn't really matter you know as much for punk and roman or randy and cody like those guys have established value i don't think there's anything that's gonna happen in those matches that's gonna do a huge impact one way or another maybe they get a slight bump but i i swear to god if if obafemi doesn't like if they could go to a double knockout that that that that's a way to get out of it without brock losing but obafemi cannot lose this match no and like i think if you know when you're looking at the demon versus dominic mysterio like you know finn balor as much as i i think the demon character is awesome like i think dominic mysterio in terms of his value has very far eclipsed what finn has achieved in cards recently just because everybody's loved what he's done over the last year and you know i think that there's there's some good outcomes for wrestling cards here if dominik mysterio wins i think there's good outcomes for wrestling cards if you know if if if that care wins but i don't think she's going to i think liv is about a sure thing as you can come to coming out of this wrestlemania i think i would be ready to go to vegas and put all my money on her reed is re ria and jade is still a toss-up to me but i really think that the that the title needs to move it's just not working for jade and you know there's there's a lot of good stuff here like i think wrestling collectors should be paying attention they're gonna probably do the patches again for next year's royalty like i think this is gonna be a big event for wrestling card collectors to watch yeah i think the only way i think jade comes out of this match is that there's an angle with her and bianca for like summerslam or something down the road and i don't think that needs to have a title implicated to it so i'm hoping we we need to see ria back with the title i mean ria is the best in the world with when it comes to a woman she is so collectible she is incredible on the mic incredible on the ring she has it all jade has just not lived up to the moment sure let's throw b fab and i'm like are you kidding me that doesn't make her stronger like she's dominating herself like you don't need to throw those two girls on with her so i again i jade if she comes out a winner will help her cards even though her cards like one on ones are bringing crazy numbers will help rhea will not affect if she wins or loses in my opinion no i will tell you from a randy orton collector since he's been back into the limelight and the opportunity his cards have gone for more money i've been watching they've gone up because people are remembering holy crap this guy is one of the all time greats he's my goat i'm not saying he's your goat or anybody else's but he's an all time great he's a devout wrestler to the company he'll finish his career with wwe where it started and i think his card's been undervalued for a long time thank god now his one on ones on the other hand that's a different story so again i oba no question if he the way his cards are so white hot right now he wins this match and if he does it in dominant fashion holy crap oba fimi's gonna have the world title within the next year he's money in the bank i mean like is he gonna so that you put him in money in the bank or do money's gotta be on him if he is i mean i i i mean yeah you could go with anybody in the money in the bank but put oba in there i i do win don't squander this opportunity when la knight was scorching scorching scorching hot wwe continued not to let it happen but it's been showing behind the scenes the botches everything about him there's probably a reason why he never got that extra opportunity even though the crowd listening to crowd on monday night raw last night with the oba chants and everything and just hear wow the in sync of it i am so excited to hear that at mania it's gonna be astronomically insane they never mic the crowd right at mania so they're just too big yes and so like if you're not in the building it's really hard to see like how massive those sounds are i i hope that the crowd goes as nuts for obafemi as they should it like i like i don't collect people besides becky lynch i have bought a number of obafemi cards because he is yes he's so awesome too he's buying into breaks like crazy i know brad's buying them like it's so cool like his cards deserve the attention and like i'm so late to the party but i don't care because he's so awesome and that promo last night was insane it just made me wanna go out and buy more of his stuff and it's just like i'm i'm not going to because it's too high it's too high right now but like there there there's never been a more sort of dominant prospect in such a short amount of time like i'm i'm not talking about like time from debut to now i'm talking about like this last month his cards have gone up probably a hundred and fifty percent if not more and that and even they were high coming out of the rumble because of what he did there but even more so now but i also just because i know we have a special guest coming on can we talk about liv morgan from last night like do you ever did you ever watch the show ozark yes you know that that scene where he says like where the the woman on that show is like you can do it but you're gonna have to kill me yes yes yes that's what i got that's the vibe i got that i got full that is i i feel the same thing about it yes yes hundred percent i am i i'm the biggest liv hater on the planet but that was so awesome i'm sorry and her and her bruised eyes because from the headbutt last week like she got she got banged up pretty bad it looked it looked incredible alright let's get into some high spots here hobby launch for chrome is on like i mean can you i i don't have any words at this point like this product is is just oh man you get my typhoon super fracker up there what an epic fail man you you we'll get there no we don't to get there we're good but i mean like this product is as we predicted has is being ripped to shreds like channel on every platform whether it's ebay whatnot fanatics like everybody's ripping this like it is just going absolutely insane the cards are are flying huge deals being done i think we counted four or five five figure sales even though most of them are private like man like i cannot have expected a bigger reaction even though we've come on this podcast and said this is gonna be gangbusters i don't i don't even think i was prepared for this no this product right now is just they they literally just took it injected steroids in it and built something even better the delights last year i will say i continue to rip those because i'm like it's gotta get better it's gotta get better it's gotta get better and it wasn't the case this year adam knows on saturday i was at work and i had layton sports cards stand there rip me three cases of the like because i was itching to rip i've already ripped three or four personals did a hobby case i've done so many breaks adam can contest he is as well i am all in on this product i am obsessed with this product i will be ripping this product for a long time i don't even care about exalted or universe at this point or last year stuff this was so well done we're seeing cards come out of mega boxes like the magazine the pretty crazy inscription shout out to my great friend chase at dugout sports cards columbia missouri that was pulled from a mega box by a kid love to see this been seeing a lot of amazing pulls crazy numbers we've talked about that adam and i know privately still some big cards out there that have not surfaced obviously i e the orton is not yet my my fingers crossed that every break i join it's the the orton spot it's it's there to send me some money me too but adam this is wow i i don't even know it's one of the greatest i mean it's one of the best products we've released in a long time in my opinion that is a pack friendly could be at a hobby shop type product versus a breaker type product yeah and like i i get it like when immaculate came out like i was freaking out because it was so cool and like having all those ridiculous patches and the relic cards like that was amazing and i think that that but that hype was personal right like it was like something that you and i went absolutely bananas on that product and like then it came out in twenty twenty three another huge release awesome set and then flawless is the only other product that i think even touched the amount of hype that is coming into this one and like even last year like i just i was okay on it like it grew on me a lot yeah i don't think there was enough value in those breakers delight boxes to to achieve the level of hype we're getting this year because you had to rip hobby to get all the good stuff and i think that this year breakers delight is proving to be like the the dominant skew and like it's it's something that i i was not prepared for so like i was buying i was buying split cases between hobby and breakers i think i've almost entirely switched over to breakers delight as a result and like the super fractures look amazing yeah there's nitpicky things like yeah the colors aren't as saturated on some of the parallels or you know some of the things the photos are dark or whatever but like when you hit it big in chrome like you are at a level we haven't seen since twenty twenty two prism and that's saying yeah and people forget twenty two prism got up to what fifteen hundred dollars a box after the hype i mean that was probably the most hype i've seen the sports card community not the wrestling card around a wrestling type product was twenty two prism it showed but it didn't deliver like this is delivering and it it's not a bad product i love the product but it was not a fifteen hundred dollar box product we're talking hobby boxes are still in the four to four fifty range so lights now are starting to creep up we're in the mid to high sevens right now but i'm seeing like boxes of this delight having like maybe three done autos and you open a box and you hit like a stone cold and a cody rhodes auto and trish stratus in the same box like are you and then maybe a garbage pail kids you know it's it's loaded it's insane it's on card wow i just wanna get off this camera and go rip more right now but i i gotta keep myself i'm so behind on work yeah i know it's it's hard to stay focused because like we have royalty coming in in like two weeks and like it's it's way too late for royalty but it's way too early after chrome and i think we've said that before and it's just like it's it's really hard for me to sort of look at this and say i i wanna save for royalty anymore because chrome is literally that that insane and is that much fun and watching the breakers the light cases are probably the coolest thing i've seen since dynasty baseball and like it's just like you it's a quick rip it's one pack and it's just like the the inserts are flying out everything is low number you're getting multiple awesome autos per box or case and you have the garbage pail kids all the case hits like it just goes rapid fire so i think people are really leaning into this breaker's delight sort of loaded configuration and and it's it's rightfully so i mean we saw the clown brigade pull the soul ruka debut patch they were ripping case after case after case i i cannot stand when they jump into wrestling cards because i i've said this before like they are not the right breaker to give any wwe product to when they were doing flawless like were sniffing the relics of the female wrestlers and making weird noises like pigs it's awful i hate when they pull big stuff and they pulled one of the biggest cards in the product it's really unfortunate and then they scam the guy basically out of that card it's really unfortunate that that's what happened but that card came out of breaker's delight and like i they it's just the every every case has something crazy whether it's like an inscription or a garbage pail kit or something i mean hell we'll talk about some of the big sales here rapid fire in a second but those garbage pail kids are selling for probably double to triple the price i expected yeah i haven't even followed what those have been doing but i mean they're what what are the odds you said are they like every two or three delight cases give or take because i like yeah one every two delight cases and then one every three well i'll be honest with you i've been in a lot of delight breaks and i i've been haven't seen that many come out compared to what it's saying the odds are so yeah those are really unique cards obviously if you've listened or followed last week i got one box ripped got the orton so that one i'm done overcheck and then i hit the what's the other interest we got the gamut signals yep i hit both of those my kid blake pulled the gamut i pulled the signals out of one of my dollar cases so i love the signals cards man those look so cool those are wild those are cool so i hate to be but i i think the the the cards are awesome yeah yeah no it's it's wow i mean literally i know you and i are still in a bunch of breaks i wake up this morning i get a text from him by the way such and such just uploaded it at like a five k sir pretty good price goes some money adam thank you and i'm i'm at the point now where i'm i'm taking the adam approach i'm buying one wrestler two technically i'm not buying bray anymore super's already been hit howdy i'm convinced is not gonna have autographs in this i think he's gonna be in blasters is my guess rollins i've barely seen any autos orton i've seen a lot better but i'm also taking the approach i'm buying roman and hobby breaks that if jamison did not buy yet i'm buying into or multiple mixer guys because i feel like he's gonna win and he's gonna be a buyback or i i i'm okay buying roman spots i'm not okay adam would not own me if i bought livspots so i i gotta buy the roman spots yeah i i like i so i my i had some big hits coming out of last week i had a really nice one pulled by east west shout out to brockman like he helped me sort of you know like the whole crew at east west did a really good job because they pulled the dual autograph black refractor becky and seth was able to work with the buyer on or the other guy on a deal so i mean like it was great there i i was able to get a frozen fracture i was able to get some really low numbered mark's champions autographs like it was a really nice week and i still haven't even seen half the breaks that i've been in and it's just like i'm i we're continuing to buy with blez and everything like i mean you and i can't get enough of this i'm just i'm hoping that the the polls stay hot i'm hoping that this wasn't like a wave one wave two type of thing where they front loaded everything i think that's really difficult and i think like there's gonna be a lot of complaints like oh all the good hits are shipped to breakers like guys chrome is not a hand packed product okay like you guys have to understand that this is done by a third party on a machine loop it's it's just the way that it goes they stack the cards in the loop and it goes like tops doesn't know where these cards go where the boxes go it's really difficult for that to happen in a machine packed product like chrome is so i don't wanna hear all the crap about like tops colluding with breakers risking a fifty a billion dollar business over a fifty thousand dollar card it's not even worth it so like it's really unfortunate that that's sort of the narrative that sort of permeates the the the sort of lexicon of this hobby but you know that's what people have been saying when when backyard pulled solaruca but i mean they ripped seventy five percent like breakers rip about seventy five percent of this run they're gonna get seventy five percent of the big hits but either way like i think my experience with the breakers this year has been overwhelmingly more positive than last year lot more familiarity with the wrestling card names lot more familiarity with sort of how the product is built and what to expect they know which hits are big now they know it's just like the familiarity has grown because wrestling cards have gotten that much more popular yes and and i'm only of the point now where i'm only ripping with people i know that are into wrestling or good for the hobby or have a good price and they're you know giving a good good show or entertainment when they're ripping it i don't wanna rip as somebody that can't pronounce name or just basic names some of these people is like you mean so raka yes so raka and it's like yeah yeah please get off the and then yeah i'm not gonna i'm not gonna give my opinion but you know i i'm i'm just telling you if you're gonna join wrestling breaks do with people who appreciate as much as as you do as a collector and a fan you don't wanna be ripping something where they can't pronounce giulia giulia giulia giulia jacob fat two and it's some of these people do it's like really you just don't watch the product like i'll be the first to admit i can't pronounce anybody's name in hockey or soccer if i can that's a win and i because i don't follow a lot of it and i'll be the first to admit if i ever go and got live and ripped again i'd like sorry if i butcher names i don't follow the product but these people portray to rip wrestling like they know what the hell they're talking about and they don't watch any of it they don't know any of it and it's just a way to make money yeah agreed and it's unfortunate it's it's just part of the part of the thing like it's always gonna be that the way it goes like at this point we've got a special guest coming on so let's run through some of the rest of the stuff here pretty quickly buybacks were announced by topps thanks to zach for running that down like it was basically like we knew generally that it was gonna be the championship matches we didn't we didn't know which of the championship matches were were gonna be selected but based on last year we assumed it was gonna be the ones that featured the royal rumble winners that's exactly what happened so it's gonna be liv and vicar and punk and roman whoever wins those matches will be the two buybacks we've seen the results now of what happens to those cards they get stamped autographed in some cases and put into the packs for chroma next year so that'll be awesome store credit at participating shops including rbi crew seven you can get i think twenty bucks for a base card is usually what they offer forty dollars for a non numbered refractor anything that's above ninety nine is one hundred anything under ninety nine is two hundred and then the buyback stamp ones have value based on what they're stamped to i don't know if i haven't seen that list yet i need to get that but that's just the run the mill how they do the other stuff so it's it's gonna be a great program and it's gonna be something that if you are hurting for money even you hey you wanna get access to product at cheaper prices use the buyback this is the what is what is there for and remember mega boxes blasters are thirty bucks at your local hobby shops are direct but tops supposed to be thirty dollars for the first thirty days right now they're trying to get forty plus a box online selling for that we will have them for thirty bucks a box in store and online for the first thirty days and other hobby shops are supposed to be doing that as well i hope they follow those guidelines so just think about it if you open a blaster and you hit say roman wins you had a refractor guess what you just made plus ten dollars and everything else is free bingo there you go alright let's go through some rapid fire chrome sales here because they have been absolutely insane we're gonna start with the roman leaky so roman reigns alternate iconic imprints superfractor went for six thousand dollars i know who bought this i'm not gonna mention it shout out and big big number on this roman reigns card probably one of the only roman leaky cards that topps is gonna produce i don't see them doing this very frequently but it was cool to at least get one his it it makes me throw back to the fcw cards his his sort of like indie card that represents his first appearance so i thought that was pretty cool but big big number here yeah i mean and i i was talking to said owner and he was like i just look at it like this this is a one time deal this is gonna be his only super factor should be of robin leakey i get his standpoint and i'm all for it because again this is not it's a persona you're never gonna see again it was yeah this is i yes and happy that this owner is now the owner of this card and didn't get in somebody else's hands that could take advantage of this other owner so yes exactly john cena's garbage pail kids red refractor sold twenty five hundred dollars versus free via best offer on ebay again like when you see the next sale i think this one went a little low but these have been sell like the base ones have been selling for six seven hundred dollars for the big names if not more i think i saw ria ripley sold for like nine hundred bucks or something like that a base one so the red going for twenty five hundred dollars seems like a giant price because it is but i think given some of the context of the other sales it's not as big as i would have expected and the red border on this car with the red this really pops this thing pops really good yeah this is probably one of the best ones to have the red border just because of the the red white and blue gear they've seen as wearing all the gore and everything it's just such an awesome card i garbage bail kids are turning out to be some of my favorite cards as i expected they would be but they what an absolutely awesome looking card great sale on that here is cody rhodes black refractor sold twenty two hundred dollars this one's out of ten fixed price right after release this is the cody bomb as a throwback to adam bomb which was my favorite garbage pail kids obviously because my name is adam back in the day so they did it for cody rhodes with the american nightmare symbol in the middle awesome awesome looking card again awesome looking card humongous price yes i i feel a lot better if i was buying the scene at that price than than cody bomb who's about to be beltless here in about whatever this weekend so right exactly alright eo skies nineteen eighty six that seems cheap that seems cheap to me okay yep topps chrome superfractor one zero one autograph sold eighteen fifty right after release this was pulled in one of the early cases i think online and i saw it and it was it's just a gorgeous card great photos she was i was coming out of wrestlemania last year or coming into wrestlemania coming into wrestlemania last year where she was wearing the the playing cards on her outfit they used that photo it looks really good she's got the women's title so eighteen fifty yeah it's compare again comparatively to some of these other sales that we've seen this feels low but again people are i i don't know if people really understand what they have in some of these cards and i think they're just kinda throwing them up on big on bigger platforms with too low of a number mhmm you can't run auctions because we know what happens to the the one zero one auctions when you run them you don't you you get terrorized by a guy who's got no life and has nothing going on so he sabotages all those auctions and instead people are sort of like a little bit scared to do that and they've put them up at buy it now just prices that are way too low i think it's better to to air on the side of caution even though you might turn off some of the original buyers but i think if you can make that private deal happen there's a lot of avenues for that as well so a lot of options out there to sell your cards you can always use one of the big auction houses as well but eighteen fifty seems a a tad low yeah no one thing i wanna point out here is in basketball cards the nba finals trophy in a picture tends to bring more money just how it is i feel like any wwe picture with a belt on anybody should always bring not saying like this super in general but in general like if there's a belt in the picture that's a moment that's a championship they're old champ at that time i feel like those cards should always bring more money when there's some type of championship belt with them in my opinion oh absolutely i think these are like i love photos with the champion that's why the marks of champions cards this year are beyond my favorite awesome such good looking cards i think they are about a thousand times better than they were last year i thought last year was was good it wasn't it wasn't bad but man when you see these cards in hands especially the color refractors look just so they pop like they're they they stand out it's it's absolutely awesome and i like i i was talking with jameson who pulled the roman reigns two out of two autograph the the geometric one stephanie pulled yeah for him yeah the pulled it for like i'm i'm serious man like that that's like the tops chrome black finite it looks so good and it's just like you know people people wanna complain about nitpicky things and just you know and it is what it is that's cards that's subjective but i have not seen a single person that saw that card and was like oh my god that's awful looking yeah that card and she pulled the otc orange inscription auto in the yeah she she back to back that card i've got several rates coming out i'm just mad at myself like why did i not buy roman in this break when i when i my head because i'm always like oh jameson's gonna buy him and then even i text him the picture he's like i didn't even know she was doing that break and i'm like he's like oh i was like yeah it was like four fifty hour spot i'm like that person just got launched yeah exactly some of the case hits have been going for a ton of money here's a rhea ripley feel the pop these are really tough pulls yep this one sold for nine hundred dollars via via best offer again on ebay this one sold recently and just great photo great looking sort of presentation i'm not a huge fan of like big text on cards but kinda works here with the purple ria looks great in this so really nice looking card but big price yeah the feel the pops and then the let's go are extremely hard to hit i to be honest with you i haven't seen as many helix come out as i've seen the other parallels i mean yeah they they increase the odds yeah so which is good it's gonna add value to these type of cards and and i like it i think you you know you need to make these more rare like legitimately rare not just a case hit yeah i'm kind of upset we didn't get the ultraviolet cards i think those are the best case hits the tops makes yep we didn't get the any of the kaiju stuff or the the manga stuff that i know they've put in some of the baseball sets i have a feeling it's gonna come next year so they they've gotta really settle like that's the one thing i think tops has kinda struggled with is they haven't settled on that one case at like the kaboom or the downtown that sort of like anchors their run and i think we need that sorted out sooner rather than later hopefully wrestling eventually gets into that mix as well big number on a sol ruka red refractor autograph this is not the breakers delight one this is the the regular base one out of five one of five sold for eight twenty five via best offer sol rooka is on fire right now i think she's probably gonna be one of the first ones called up after the main roster so i think like you know this is this is what it is man like this is the types of cards that people are wanting to buy they want the cup they want the chrome they want the red refractors they want the the best of the best they they kinda went a little too cute i think on some of the the background up here it's not a solid red refractor it's got like a tire print or a tribal print or something i kinda wish they would have like just kept it solid it's it's nitpicky right like they were splitting hairs at this point mhmm and they just wanted to add a little bit something and it i i just i wanted to see it more solid red but i still think the card looks awesome my biggest takeaway from this card is how big and how awesome that autograph is it stands out they left a lot of space lot of space and with more of encouraging inscriptions but she she put a great auto on this i mean she's only got what seven letters in her name and you like you can basically almost spell it out which is awesome yeah and i'd like i'm you know while we're waiting for our guests to join us here and i'm a quick remind because he was asking earlier but you know he'll be on in a second and in the meantime i think it's i think it's something that when you look at the inscription and like all the stuff that people are buying like we've seen like the the raquel rodriguez sell for fifteen hundred i think that was undersold considerably and i we saw the maxine dupree that you mentioned was pulled very close to you columbia missouri that sold for twelve fifty i think that was undersold so i think it's like it's it's really interesting to see kind of like how this is all playing out in real time and it's like you know i i wanna see more of like people just like taking big swings and like list cards for big numbers right like it's it's it's interesting right so i think it's it's something that it's something that we have a lot of people that are driving you know big sales in this space we're we're having a lot of individual sales that are being done privately so they're not showing up in these platforms there's just not a lot of comp data out there for people to to to use and it's it's interesting right it's it's like how do you get everybody on the same page without public sales to really to handle it right and the biggest problem is is the the like you like to say the tariffs on ebay so many people know like i can't run this card and you're just not gonna get paid for it it's very it's like what maybe two out of ten chances if it's a one zero one wrestling card that it actually legitimately sells and doesn't get chilled up and it has to relist and relist that goes into account for it again most wrestling people i had guy hit me up he hit the orton universe one zero one in a break and people told him to hit me up that sale is private never going to ebay i'm able to buy a lot that way you are as well so again unless we're willing to divulge those sales a lot of this stuff is falling under the cracks and the day data is not gonna be out there on everything to be accurate at this point to know that some of these cards are bringing big big numbers but it's just not publicly out there and it's a good and bad thing it doesn't show how strong the wrestling card community is as far as sales wise but it does kinda protect the collector of that standpoint who might have overpaid to get that item and they're like hey i don't need people knowing that i paid this because then if they know that then they're gonna make me expect to pay the up every time i wanna buy something yeah it's like it's like think about it like this chrome is in the hands of a lot of people that don't usually rip wrestling cards chrome is in the hands of mega boxes blasters people who rip those are not the people that are used to doing high dollar sales right so when you pull a car you buy a slot for thirty forty bucks because it's chrome and you're you're getting introduced to wrestling cards and like all those other things like it's really important to you know recognize that the individuals who rip this on a regular basis are gonna be a different crowd than the ones who rip exalted or the ones who may have ripped even royalty right yep like it's just it's a flagship product so like a kid could go to target pull a blaster off the shelf and hit this mega card and doesn't know what to do with it maybe it falls in between the seat of his mom's van you know you never know so i think like that's where this is gonna be so different than any other product and i think some of the sales are gonna reflect that but once they resurface once whoever grabs them either if they're gonna flip them or whatever it's gonna happen pretty quickly they're gonna get graded they're gonna get put on ebay and they're gonna get sold so we'll have to see yep only time will tell alright i am going to stop this alright we are back with brian at t h c sports cards on instagram how are you doing sir hopefully you're excited to celebrate wrestlemania this week good i'm doing good thank you very much for for having me on very excited attending the first one for my wife first one that you're going to yeah yeah you and ryan are in that same boat i think first one man i i assumed you've been to multiple man so that's ex i thought you went to last year so now we're both getting experience at wrestlemania together for the first time that's awesome yeah it's gonna be fun so i think for for everybody who who may not be familiar with you or kind of like your your instagram page do you mind like sort of giving sort of a quick introduction just for everybody to to have you know just an idea of where you came into the hobby what your background is what your connection to wrestling cards is stuff like that just in case they aren't familiar for sure so i've i've been in the hobby in general since i was a child so about thirty thirty five years i started collecting when shaquille o'neal was a rookie for the orlando magic nice and i just collect kept collecting cards my whole life i got really back into it in my teens and then over the last five six years i got into it heavily heavily where i was doing shows and doing a lot of private sales and stuff like that and i come from traditionally more of an mba background mhmm that's always been kind of what i focused on but i just kinda got burnt out with that space and when when wwe went on to netflix last year my wife and i watched that and we had both watched when we were younger but kind of dropped watching wrestling later in our teens and in our twenties and yeah when when it went on to netflix we watched that very first that very first raw on netflix and then that following friday we were like well that was awesome maybe we should check out smackdown and since then we haven't missed an episode nice so i kind of was burned out with the nba and i decided you know what i'm enjoying wrestling my wife's enjoying wrestling let me let me kinda dip my toe into the wrestling card hobby and i haven't really looked back since collect what you love man that's the best thing yes absolutely so tell so like yeah you have a little bit of a different background in terms of like your role as well in the hobby because you do a lot of buying and selling and stuff like that which i i wanted to have you on more more for for your wrestling fandom and everything but i think that element of your game is a little bit different from some of the other people that we've brought on to the podcast before and it gives a a unique perspective in sort of like how you operate what drives sort of the the things that you collect and the things that you buy and sell so like when you were you mentioned hey we we watched netflix we got back into it i think i had a very similar experience a number of years ago watching wrestlemania thirty three and thirty two just seeing like all the evolution that has happened in the space since then and like so when you came into this like what were some of the goals you kinda had what were the like how did you set maybe some of those priorities initially and like maybe talk about some of the ways that they've changed over the last couple of years since since the debut alright hold on let me pause it he'll hop back on it's all good the studio i don't know what happened you're good okay let's start that over let me just reask that question i'll sorry i'll just randomly kicked me out you're good man don't worry about it it happens so when you mentioned coming back oh hold on a second alright you mentioned coming back into the the hobby watching the first episode of raw and netflix then sort of like going from there tell me a little bit about like sort of coming into this space what were some of the priorities that you set you know as an initial you entry into the wrestling card hobby versus maybe some of the ways they've changed over the last couple of years yeah so this truly is a hobby for me in the in the real world i do commercial real estate so when i when i used to do the nba stuff and i was heavily into that it was much more it got to a point where it didn't feel like a hobby anymore i was doing so much of it that it started to feel like a second job so really my goal was i wanted to just kind of wind down and almost take a break from the hobby but once i started doing the wrestling cards and saw how great the wrestling card community is it my goal kind of changed and it became more about just kind of enjoying what i was doing again it had been a while since i had gotten that out of cards in general so yeah it it it i was just so burned out it gets like you said i do come from a little bit of a different place i do all these shows i do a lot of private sales behind the scenes and it just it burns you out after a while just the back and forth the wrestling card community is just so much easier to deal with just in general compared to some of the other sport card hobbies yes absolutely yeah i can we have almost similar backgrounds so i was a big lebron collector i love basketball and i still love basketball but you know i collected lebron autograph i put that card for a very long time everybody knew me as that and i just kind of wasn't enjoying as much anymore i kind of still love lebron still a fan i've got my dream lebron card and i decided you know being in commercial real estate to sell off majority of my lebron collection and buy the building that we're in now however before then i dove into wrestling cards with my family and really remember what it was like to collect and what the hobby really stood for and you get that with the wrestling cards and the wrestling card community there's like nothing out there like it you both of you know that and i think i respect that completely because i think it's a different space adam when you're dealing with the basketball card community and the international sales and the amount of money and the people in there are very very different i'll say that in a nice way as i can and you come to the wrestling card space and everybody is passionate and they love it and they wanna be in it and they enjoy it and again that's what cards were built honestly why cards were created in my opinion and how we got into it as all kids collecting and you just get that feel with wrestling so for brian to say what he said about that and he always has some incredible basketball cards he still dives in the space i still buy basketball cards but i don't enjoy it as much as i do in the wrestling so thank you for talking about that because i it resonated with me tremendously to where i was up here at basketball and now i could care too less about it so yeah if something comes in that's great but it's just not what i'm focused on right now it's not what i'm having fun doing fun yeah so i think like for because i i think i went through that same experience too in twenty nineteen like i i had like the my instagram graveyard at the bottom of my page if you go all the way down you keep scrolling and keep scrolling like we're talking millions of dollars worth of cards that i sold years too early which i've come to terms with but it's i sold a few of them to ryan but like i think like the the the community is what drew me in right because i was very burnt out on cards like we all get to a point in our hobby life where that happens and like coming to wrestling cards and seeing the way that the community functions the way that the community sort of roots for each other was big so i i feel for that specifically yep so let's let's talk about some of the favorite cards that you've been able so you you've been back in sort of collecting wrestling cards a couple of years now yep what are what are some of the things that you collect like what are your what like what's your primary targets and then maybe show off some of the favorites that you have because your page is quite impressive i i i i like collecting the grails and the one of ones i'm definitely a sucker for inscriptions yep as far as what i actually keep right now that would be two things for about the last year i've been buying up flawless i believe ryan has quite a flawless collection as well i really think that product long term will be looked at as the key wwe product maybe of all time it just it has the the legacy name in flawless with panini it's synonymous with the highest end release of the year every year and every sport when they had it the star swatches to me are like to go back to basketball they are the equivalent of like an exquisite limited logo when upper deck had the license that's kind of the way i look at the star swatches and i just think that in on card in case john cena from flawless long term will be more sought after than any other on card cena outside of maybe some of the retirement auto relics so flawless has been big for me i've been buying that for a year and then when i first got into the space rhea ripley is who i collected but my focus has shifted to solruka i nice sold all my ria and solruka is definitely who i think she's gonna have a very bright future once she gets called up fingers crossed maybe we see it monday after mania raw after mania but if not she she's getting called up at some point so yeah his his whole recollection is insane you've actually sold me a few nice ones i bought that prism gold psa nine rookie from you in dallas in january which i i still have actually obtained another one and then a gold shimmer to five i tracked down so not going in the level that you are but i see what you see she has it all she's got a bright future she's young i i i'm all in on her like not like you to that extent but i feel like i need to get these now before it's too late because once she comes to the main stage and shows everybody who doesn't watch nxt who didn't watch obafemi dominate nxt yeah you could see the writing on the wall who is gonna come up and who's gonna be a player and she has everything she's it yep and and going back to oba i i missed the boat on oba i didn't watch nxt enough and appreciate him when he was in nxt one of my biggest hobby regrets and i've brought this up to my wife and to some other friends in the hobby last year at national it was walking around the room obafemi's prism black one of one god and i passed on it i passed on it and to this day it it it haunts me what was the number you were what was the number they offered it to you for i i want to say it was around thirty five hundred dollars which at the time at the time yeah for him was high but i can only imagine what that card is worth today i i don't know who has it i've never seen it again but yeah that's one of my biggest hobby regrets and it was it was actually kinda shortly after national last year that i kinda switched my focus from ria to soul and said you know what i it also coincided with going to an event and seeing her live in orlando i just said wow this girl has got everything and that's just who i wanna collect and who who i'm gonna be rooting for so do you do you have a few that that you can point to as like some of the the top in your collection because i'm sure they're insane i do i've got a little stack here so i'll i'll run through a few i've got a few out of grading right now but i'm a sucker for one on ones i'm in i'm a sucker for inscriptions i don't think she's inscribed anything yet that i've seen but what i have here in hand not being graded right now i've got her flawless one of them very nice her second year black disco that just came in from china a couple weeks ago it was on ebay yeah i think we talked about that on the we did talk about that i assumed you bought that i i i assumed in my head that you bought that so that's awesome i i'm surprised it went for what it went for especially with who the seller was they have kind of a history of some shady bidding going on they're they're a consignor overseas that too yeah nothing not a crazy one but that just came in a nice chronicles okay one of one nice select oh the the gold mine only select that she has the premier level she doesn't have a ring really funny because both both her and obafemi only have the one card yep i mean we know julia and stephanie vacair also only have the ring side so it's like they kinda like said you're getting one and that's it yeah which is unfortunate yeah i would love if she had a ringside i love that design of that year and everything would be great if she if she did but and then i've got her finest which i purchased raw and i got very lucky it came back in gem min ten that's awesome wow that's awesome i'm not a huge fan of the finest set but anytime that i can submit something myself and it comes back at ten it feels a little bit more special right and then probably for me my favorite is the this this pair i've got her base and her autograph variation one in a ten and the base itself came back a nine so lots lots of heat there yeah and i've got a few more off being graded right now i think i have three or four other kinda bigger ones of her but yeah i'm i'm i'm looking forward to seeing what they do with her once she's called up it's gonna be interesting she's she's gotta be a focal point i mean like the moves that she does and the way that she wrestles is really hard to keep keep down the fans are gonna react when they see that stuff so it's like can't really keep her down for too long agree agree i got the i was lucky enough to go watch her at stand deliver about a week and a half ago in the zaria match and her doing the soul snatcher off the rope onto the hard platform i was like oh i was like there's no way she's not gonna do this oh my god and then she did it and you're like wow what a great match she was having a lot of wardrobe malfunctions she kept her pants kept falling out i noticed that she kept pulling it up the whole time but she actually she actually the night before on her on her instagram had mentioned she had gotten her wardrobe in either the day before or maybe two days before and she was not happy with it she has like a five dollar a month just for like fans type of instagram and she did a kind of a preview of it and she ahead of time warned that she was not happy with it i thought it looked great but i can understand that with all the kind of moving that was going on i i get why she wasn't yes too happy with it that explains it yeah so i think like if she gets called up after mania i like i i hope they they strap a rocket to her the way that they have with some of the other prospects with trick and and with javon evans and obviously obafemi but i mean even like roxanne and vecare and you know julia is a two time champion at this point like they're really making huge investments like you've you've you've done the basketball game you know the prospecting game with all the basketball rookies like do you see a lot of parallels between sort of the the nxt crop and sort of how they're coming up through the ranks and how you've seen it in other sports for sure it's it's much that's another thing that i kind of like about wwe compared to the nba scene the nba you've got sixty kids coming in to the league every single year you know you've got two rounds of thirty draft picks coming in with wwe it's much more focused you're getting five to ten call ups a year maybe and you're watching them for the most part you know the care kinda had a a rocket strap to her and oba's come up fairly quickly through the nxt rankings but you get to watch them for quite some time with the with the ones coming into the nba it's so quick you get one college season one one march madness and then they're in the nba and you just kinda have to take that gamble call yeah and if you wanna invest in them you just have to take that gamble and hope that it hope that it pays off but like obafemi i know a lot of people like last night was the last time that they excuse me monday night since this will be later on in the week but monday night it throws us off every week it's don't worry about it oh yeah we struggle with that every week probably saw him on the mic for the first time and i saw a lot of people that were like oh he really does have it all he is incredible on the mic as well i thought his promo last night was great with paul heyman yes it was but i've been watching nxt i know he can cut a promo he's he really does have it all and it's great to be able to see that much more in wrestling than you do in other sports i feel like yeah that makes sense and as you're at some of these shows i'm sure you're seeing cards come up to your table you're seeing all this stuff like you're seeing it in real time how people are reacting to a lot of what's going on in the market some of the people i i think maybe listening to this podcast really don't have the show experience maybe if you if you don't mind like yeah walk through sort of what that's been like for you over the last i mean like since tops has come back on in twenty twenty five although we only had three hobby products last year i'm you mentioned hey flawless is this landmark set ryan and i have said that on this podcast a number of times as well i think we're in full agreement there like talk about the experience that shows like dallas and other things like that where you're actively looking to buy and sell for your business you're looking to to stock your your coffers here with massive cards to be able to attract a lot of that foot traffic what's that show been show scene been like since you've come back into into the wrestling card space like how has it changed over the last couple of years just honestly in the last you know year year and a half it has changed a lot since tops took over i came into the hobby towards the tail end of of panini having the license mhmm and i only got a few months of only having panini as the option before tops came in and in those few months the you could already see the shift happening and more faces were coming up first two dallas shows it was a lot of the repeat same people that i'd see at the first two shows and then tops got the license and i saw a bunch of new faces and then the next show more new faces and the next show more new faces it really does seem like tops is doing a fairly good job at getting people into the wrestling hobby more so than i think panini did and the way they're doing it some people might not agree with but i feel like they they know how to market correctly on the card side of things just with the people that they're bringing in the celebrities that they're bringing in the the national card day like ryan had in his shop with with randy orton being there yeah they're doing the right things we didn't get that with pingini they did an incredible job with with with the wrestling cards but it almost seems like they didn't think of the collector as much as topps does and i think that that's kind of paying off as far as the amount of people you're seeing come into the hobby now yeah that's that's a really good point and like listen topps doesn't have the best reputation in some areas because they've they're they've assembled the infinity gauntlet of yeah of of different parts of the hobby but i mean like ryan you you've talked about this like your experience with topps and and how they've brought people to your store through the hobby rip night and randy orton as as brian was just alluding to here but you know like i i'm in full agreement here yeah and it it goes hand in hand they have a phenomenal relationship fanatics has with the wwe and they're all kind of on for the most part on the same page so i think that opportunity is out there for them versus what panini had because we know that that relationship basically was almost ended the second prism came out with the announcement of the knacks locking it up the day off so so but but again topps is running with that relationship and it's benefiting tremendously within the hobby with shops with collectors getting the opportunity to meet these wrestlers at these hobby rip nights and other opportunities as well so again it's bringing people closer i guarantee you the event of rip night with wrestlers at shops probably easily brought more people into the hobby by being there or seeing that online and saying oh there's wrestling cards and i think that is gonna continue to resonate so great job by topps and again like you said they're putting forth that we know the marketing they're putting into baseball football and basketball and and we know they're gonna continue to put the chips there but i i agree there's still more to be done with wwe over here and i think that's gonna continue to grow in time i think it's just more of like hey we just got basketball and nfl back we need to prioritize this but hey this long term deal over here with wwe it's showing and i think the biggest way it's showing is all and you alluded to this you love inscriptions like adam and i both do look at these inscriptions that we're getting we saw far and few of panini and again i think that goes to the relationship but topps is like hey let's have some fun with these and these people that are going to get these autographs are getting the collector closer to the the wrestler completely with these inscriptions and that's something that wasn't done prior to panini wattopsi you don't really see any inscriptions back to the pre twenty two era so that is huge and i think that's costing us more money as a collector but we're okay with it we're happy with it we love it so for sure absolutely one real quick i got a story with brian now brian and i have been dealing with each other for years brian first off do you still do the custom cards you made with like exquisite and stuff i it's been a while i kind of you know somebody mentioned the infinity gauntlet i don't remember which one you said it but it has been almost everyone i could making the custom marvel cards that i did so i kinda took a break just because until we get like a new a new kind of group of these of these marvel actors there's really nobody for me to chase i wish i had some here that i could no they're adam they're explores i just haven't done beautiful and that's i i can't wait to see them well brian could we come up to our booth in nashville and then we went through stuff we started doing deals for years and this year i there's a story about a card that walked up to your table that you brought to me so why don't you go ahead if you don't mind share this story because i think this is an awesome story and just shows you how the wrestling card community is and the relationship that brian and i have yeah so a teenager and his father kid was probably twelve to fourteen they had opened one of the blowout cards mystery boxes that they had oh yeah yeah yeah had a bunch of like random retail in there and i think you could get like a hobby box i wanna say it was like maybe a hundred bucks and you were guaranteed to get like ten retail value boxes and i was set up very close to the blowout booth last year at the national and he the the the kid had come to my booth earlier on and had traded for some stuff and there were some other stuff that he liked as well he went off came back a couple hours later and he said hey i was opening this value box that i got from blowout with my father and i pulled this one of one is it worth anything and he didn't really know much too much about wrestling i had a lot of other non sports there and he was more of a basketball guy as well the the kid was and i took a look and it was the randy orton black finite from prism for twenty twenty four only year that they did the black finite story yeah and i i told him said yep it's definitely worth a good amount of money i made him a strong offer on it traded him some basketball that he wanted and i think there was a star wars card as well if i remember correctly and then gave him some cash on top and i don't even think i texted you ryan i just walked it over to your booth about twenty minutes later and said hey i'll just take a bunch of your lower end flawless here's this card give me what you wanna give me and i'll take some punks and cenas and undertaker encased autos here you go i know it i knew it needed to just go the owner was in the room so there's no reason to put it online or show an offering i didn't even put it on my story i think i ended up just reposting your story once you put it on yeah i it was austin and brandon had both came over like ran over to tell me and you never even got to reach out you just show up like twenty minutes later and we got a deal done i threw you some flaws and some cash i believe off top of my head a graded psa ten which is awesome like you said it's nice but again i appreciate that you thought of me and the opportunity but what are the odds that that would get pulled there and b that the people would come to you and then you're like i know exactly who to do this too so that was great for me because that was my infinity gauntlet car we mentioned because i have twenty two twenty three twenty four prism blacks yep i need the black finan i could care less about the undercard i don't have to have it yeah but if it ever showed up i i take it so to me getting that black friday was my thanos so thank you again for that an awesome story and it was great to hear that a kid pulled it and came out doing really well at the end so yeah yeah for sure that that's that's awesome so let's let's so before we get to maybe a bucket list item here for you let's talk about wrestlemania so i think ryan and i covered it at the beginning sort of what we were thinking was gonna happen like if you if you had to fantasy book some of the matches this week what what are you what's your outcomes here coming into media and sort of what would be best for for the stuff that you think would would go over well with wrestling card collectors alright so if i'm in a fantasy book obafemi is winning yeah we we we're we're on the same page yeah we're on on the same page then that's it i feel like it doesn't benefit i'm not a huge brock fan i liked him when he was in the ufc i used to go to ufc i rooted for him i never saw brock the wwe wrestler i only knew him as the ufc fighter was a huge fan at that point i'm not a fan of brock lesnar the the wrestler i know the rumor is he's retiring i don't think it benefits either of them to lose right now so i feel like there's there has to be some sort of either interference or double count out something like that but if i'm fantasy booking obafemi goes in there and be and just swatches them yeah that would be nice on the same page there yeah if go if oldberg can do that to brock lesnar in a match years ago then obafemi for sure as hell i'm sure brock wants that to happen i mean he probably does yes he probably i hope he does so it'd be awesome i i really you know the hayman said the real main event and out of all of the the fights happening this weekend yeah both my wife and i think we're looking forward to that one more than anything else so that would be my number one fantasy booking then when it comes to like some of the other big ones i would love to see from the women's tag i'd love to see the belts get put on bayley and lyra i'd love to just see them get that run bayley got knocked out of wrestlemania last year by by bex it'd be nice to see i feel like they've been putting in the time and the work it'd be nice to see them have a belt put on for a little bit liv steph stephanie vacair i feel like for the hobby stephanie vacare liv her cards her values her collectors they're all there i feel like stephanie has you know she's only been around for about a year now and i think having a win on this grand of a scale would be huge for her and then for the the the two main events obviously one of you would like me to say randy orton my wife's not in my office right now but i can feel her breathing down my neck saying cody rhodes because that's that's her guy i just hope that we get a good fight in that one i don't really i don't think it matters that so much on that one orton and rhodes it matters the the entire world okay yes you're right right that's the reason why i'm going to mania it matters it matters to me not to anybody else to me so i mean hobby wise hobby wise hobby hobby wise okay okay gotcha gotcha i i feel you know i feel like i i think here's what i'll say in the in the year and a half that i've been back to watching wrestling i have heard about randy orton punt kicking dudes in the head for this whole year and a half and i had dudes and women not once in the last year and a half has randy orton punt kicked someone's head so if randy orton can do that to cody and i can finally see this elusive punt kick that he does i i think that's gonna happen i i i i'm willing to put a bet on that i think yeah it'd be it'd be nice to find the seed it feels very they've teased it feels like something that just is never gonna happen again so it'd be nice to see that and then roman and centimeters punk i i feel like they're gonna put the belt back on roman if they keep it on punk they they then the belt can be there every week obviously roman is gonna be a special attraction but i just feel like that's the way that they're going i'm sure that we're gonna have some crazy things happen in that final main event who knows who we're gonna see come out it doesn't feel like the kind of match that's going to have some sort of just clean finish to it so should be interesting yeah i i can't disagree there very much i i think they're gonna other than the tag belts i think they're gonna put them on the bellies for a lifetime achievement award which is which is yeah i'm i'm with you man go home go go go home i agree there's there's too much young talent for that yes agreed but yeah i mean it's fun so like can't wait you get you get to experience all of this together both of you will be there it's gonna be really entertaining i think regardless of what happens in the matches we are gonna like logofractor kicking off for the first time there it looks like it's just gonna be available i think that's that's the way that they they've been telling us that really they're that there's just like first come first serve is what the what they're gonna do and they're gonna have a lot of it there so hopefully you guys will get a a good chance to yeah to find to find some boxes and rip a few i know like those kendall gray autos aren't gonna rip themselves so gotta find a way to get your hands on some of that but yeah it looks like it's gonna be a fun week man i i was not lucky enough to get any chrome hobby all of my chrome rips have been retail that i've been able to get get through wwe shop walmart all of that so getting knowing that i've got a good shot to open some logo for actor will is is definitely appealing i'll be bringing lots of penny sleeves and top loaders in my carry on hey crap you're a good point i gotta i gotta remember to grab that but no one yeah i would think that maybe the fanatics set up there with all the cards might have supplies would think there'll be a good opportunities to sell that yeah right but yes i i need to take that approach too because my kids will be hopefully we can get our hands on some as well we're not going until friday to mania world so hopefully it's still there by then they've gotta at least put out a certain amount each day so that they can you would think i think they're gonna control it i would think i'm gonna that's not just gonna throw out all the k yeah for sure so if you had so let's let's close it out here with this like if you had one bucket list item for wrestling cards or for wrestling what what are you chasing what's your your white whale that you're chasing or maybe something you wanna do from a wrestling perspective other than going to wrestlemania which we already know is happening what are what are some of your bucket list items here well my bucket list card has already been pulled i think i know where this is going yeah and it was it was pulled by backyard it's already been redeemed it's the soul ruka debut patch auto it's already been redeemed i've been told that it's being graded and once it comes back from grading maybe there's a chance it's available nice so that's definitely anybody who knows me knows that that's the card that i've gotta have in my collection at least i'm not thrilled with where it's at but at least it has been pulled and it's not buried in a box somewhere right and that could happen i mean it could be stuck forever yep and i i hope you get it i i know your collection seems to be heading that direction given the amount of heat that you already have and the impressive cards you've already managed to to acquire in such a short period of time but best
